Choose a LEGO Sunflowers display case around the complete 31215 relief, its selected petal positions and the original frame. A printed border on an aftermarket front can add a second surround. Compare those visual layers, usable front depth and access for adjusting flowers before choosing the finished wall display.
The selected petal positions belong in the depth record
LEGO’s official Sunflowers specification describes sixteen sunflowers with adjustable petals, a removable frame, a signature tile and a rear hanger element. Its descriptive model reference is over H54 × W41 × D5 cm. That is a model reference, rather than a measured clearance for every petal position inside another product.
Choose the presentation before checking the enclosure. Keep the original frame attached if that is the arrangement you want; if you plan to remove it, ask about the actual supported artwork in that state. A removable border does not establish another approved model-to-case connection.
Record the finished rear-to-front profile with the petals positioned as intended under the model instructions. Include the furthest projecting flower, frame and rear receiving parts. Do not flatten the flowers to make an assumed five-centimetre cavity appear sufficient.
The official page’s small widget also rounds the inch height and width differently from the descriptive paragraph. Keep one identified reference together and check the actual build. Selecting the smallest figure from different blocks does not produce a reliable case specification.
An added baroque border changes what the front shows
| Layer | Choose before ordering | Check in the intended view |
|---|---|---|
| LEGO artwork and frame | Original frame retained or a specifically confirmed alternative. | Complete outer flowers and the signature tile remain visible. |
| Aftermarket front | Clear front or the exact printed-border version. | Printed artwork does not conceal an edge or flower you want to see. |
| Enclosure on the wall | Whole outside border, rear support and projection. | The full closed case and its opening route work beside neighboring displays. |
iDisplayit’s Special Edition describes a baroque-style print on the acrylic front. Its page links a separate standard version; the figures below belong to the Special Edition read here. Do not transfer its border or dimensions to the linked version without its own specification.
Wicked Brick’s wall case also describes a printed frame element. Ask how that element sits relative to the model’s retained original frame and raised flowers. A product photograph viewed straight on does not establish every edge’s visibility from the room.
Six centimetres outside and six centimetres inside differ
These product descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. DisplayCasePro has not physically fitted the artwork or tested the cases’ mounting, optical or protective performance.
| Exact product | Published figures | Boundary to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 31215 | W50.1 × D6 × H62.7 cm. | Axes supplied; inside/outside boundary unstated. |
| iDisplayit Special Edition 31215 | Inside L44 × W06 × H57 cm; outside L47 × W07 × H60 cm. | Source prints 06 and 07 for W; distinct labelled rows. |
| Flying Box 31215 | L18 × W2.25 × H23 in. | Inches are explicit; usable interior is not identified. |
| Kingdom Brick Supply 31215 | Inside W45.6 × D5.6 × H58.4 cm; outside W47.9 × D6.6 × H60.7 cm. | Inside and outside are separately labelled; paired inches are rounded. |
| ICUANUTY 31215 | External 46 × 6 × 58 cm, paired with 18.11 × 2.36 × 22.83 in. | Explicitly exterior; tuple axes and clear cavity are not labelled. |
Flying Box supplies a unit with its L × W × H line. Keep that evidence intact, while asking how W maps to the wall-facing depth and where the receiving space begins. Acrylic thickness alone does not answer those questions.
ICUANUTY’s opened product description explicitly identifies external dimensions and 3 mm acrylic. Its separate Product Size section supplied no additional readable numbers after opening. The exterior should not be turned into a usable cavity by subtracting guessed layers or borrowing another artwork’s dimensions.
Kingdom Brick Supply labels a 5.6 cm internal depth. Confirm the supported relief and the endpoints of that measurement. Comparing it with the official over-5 cm reference does not settle the selected petals, support offset or clearance to the closing front.
The artwork hanger and case attachment have different jobs
First identify how the complete Sunflowers artwork is retained inside the enclosure. Then identify how the whole loaded enclosure attaches to the actual wall. The LEGO hanger element is a model feature; its presence does not supply all the connections for an aftermarket case.
iDisplayit’s Special Edition description specifies four side fittings, twelve rear fasteners, one rear mounting hole and a removable hook-design front. Keep those counts with this 31215 product. They are construction details, without a universal wall-fixing or model-retention design.
ICUANUTY lists screws, anchors and spacers with an integrated wall format. Obtain the selected product’s installation and model-retention instructions for the complete assembly. A supplied anchor packet does not establish suitability for every wall construction.

Decide how often the flowers will be adjusted
A fixed composition and occasional petal adjustments create different routines. Ask which front part releases, how it moves and whether the artwork remains supported while the intended area is reached. A removable front does not itself establish that every flower can be adjusted in place.
Kingdom Brick Supply describes front removal while its case stays on the wall and expressly says the case is not designed for relocation with the LEGO model inside. Keep both instructions with the order. Do not treat convenient opening as permission to carry the populated case.
Reserve the selected front’s release route and a resting place for it before arranging nearby frames. Use the Sunflowers petals, border and case worksheet. The usable depth guide explains reference surfaces; the collection wall planner helps place the whole confirmed enclosure.
Common questions
Does the model’s five-centimetre reference specify the case depth?
Confirm the complete selected relief, supports and clear front space. Model depth and usable case depth have different endpoints.
Is the printed case border the model’s original frame?
The cited products add an aftermarket front treatment. Check how it presents the retained LEGO frame and whether all desired details remain visible.
