LEGO Ship in a Bottle Cases: 21313, 92177 and the Model Stand

Compare LEGO Ship in a Bottle cases for 21313 and 92177. Keep the brick-built bottle, original stand, internal sizes and base versions separate.

LEGO Ship in a Bottle Cases: 21313, 92177 and the Model Stand

Choose a LEGO Ship in a Bottle display case for the complete brick-built bottle on its original model stand, then check the additional outer enclosure. Keep set 21313 and 92177 explicit in the enquiry. A bottle, a model stand and an acrylic case are three different parts of the finished display.

Record the bottle and original stand as the received object

The official January 2018 introduction of 21313 describes a brick-built bottle with cork, wax-seal-style detail and water pieces, plus a display stand with a Leviathan nameplate, globes and a decorative compass with a spinning needle. Those retained stand details belong in the outer-case enquiry.

The separate official 92177 description also identifies the bottle, ship and stand. Its descriptive model line gives the bottle on its stand as over H10 × W31 × D10 cm. That rounded reference is not a measured outline for your assembled copy or an instruction to use a ten-centimetre internal height.

The page’s descriptive inch line and dimensions widget round differently. Keep the metric reference together instead of selecting smaller inch values to calculate a supposed clearance. The small ship inside the bottle is not the object that an external case must receive.

Four case listings and a model article answer different questions

The following descriptions were reviewed on 19 October 2026. Published compatibility is attributed to each source. DisplayCasePro has not fitted either set in these products or tested their protective and load claims.

Only iDisplayit’s cited product explicitly names both set numbers. Keep another maker’s stated model reference with that product; a similar-looking bottle does not extend its compatibility statement automatically.

Keep clear interiors separate from approximate exteriors

Jurassic Bricks 21313No numerical receiving dimensions in the read description.Neither clear cavity nor complete exterior established.
ONBRICK 21313Internal L340 × D140 × H140 mm.Exterior note says approximately an extra 10 mm on each side.

FantasMall’s inch and centimetre strings are rounded alternatives. Do not combine one value from each into a more precise-looking interior. Likewise, ONBRICK’s approximate exterior note is not a complete labelled footprint for a tight shelf opening.

Keep iDisplayit’s W label and ONBRICK’s D label attached to their respective drawings. Map the bottle’s intended orientation explicitly. A close numerical difference from an official rounded model reference does not verify room around the cork, globes, stand or case fittings.

Resolve the supplied base and printed rear before ordering

FantasMall’s page contains an upgraded solid-wood-base description alongside an Acrylic/PVC materials line. Ask which base and version apply to the selected order, together with a current receiving drawing. Do not resolve that discrepancy by assuming that the quoted cavity has already been checked above a particular finished base.

Its FAQ describes a painted background that cannot be removed. That matters if you want views from both sides of the bottle. Choose the rear treatment as part of the product specification rather than expecting every backdrop to slide out later.

ONBRICK discusses optional printing and custom doors or cable holes, but the observed product selector offered Display Case Only. Treat a requested modification as something to confirm, not a supplied feature. Its description separately specifies a 4 mm acrylic body and 6 mm black base; those material figures do not replace the stated internal dimensions.

Keep the model stand visible inside the second enclosure

Original schematic with invented bottle, ship, stand and enclosure. It illustrates separate receiving boundaries, without representing either LEGO set’s geometry or a supplier’s base connection.

Choose which way the bottle neck and nameplate face in the room. Include both globe details and the complete supported bottle in the plan, even when the hull itself appears small. A printed rear can frame one front view while changing what can be seen from behind.

Decide whether you want to reach the stand’s decorative compass or simply view the nameplate and globe details through the closed case. Describe that access task separately from the chosen front view; spare height above the bottle does not establish the required hand approach.

Confirm the normal opening before choosing a shelf position

ONBRICK’s published assembly directions place a clear lid on top of the sides. Ask how the selected finished case is normally opened and where that part rests. For the other products, obtain their own routine access instructions rather than transferring this lid arrangement between brands.

Flat-packed panels, screws or connector descriptions do not by themselves identify the component intended for repeated opening. Reserve the actual removal route around the supported bottle and a place for removed enclosure parts. The original LEGO stand and the enclosure’s floor remain different supports.

Use the bottle, stand and outer-case worksheet with the LEGO shelf case guide and collection measurement guide. Once dimensions and access are resolved, the display lighting guide helps plan reflections without relying on untested clarity or UV claims.
