For a LEGO Porsche 911 RSR 42096 display, choose between a flat enclosure, an angled stand inside a case and an open wall receiver. Then check the raised rear wing, mirrors and door-opening routine in that exact arrangement. A Porsche 10295 description or a shallow frame-depth figure cannot establish RSR fit.
42096 is the endurance-racing Porsche
The official LEGO 42096 specification gives a model over H13 × L50 × W20 cm. It describes the raised swan-neck rear wing, extended diffuser and side mirrors. Opening doors provide cockpit access, while the model also has working steering, suspension, differential and a moving-piston boxer engine.
Use 42096 rather than the Porsche badge as the receiving reference. The Creator Expert 10295 Turbo/Targa and Technic 42056 GT3 RS have different shapes and features. A support or case specified for either needs explicit separate confirmation for the RSR.
One sampled Elevenmark article names 42096 in its title and frame discussion, but its case section describes 10295 Turbo/Targa. Retain that mismatch. Its F1 wording also does not change the RSR into an F1 model or establish an F1 mounting connection.
Three enclosure records describe different receiving arrangements
The following original pages were read on 18 October 2026. Dimensions retain their source definitions. They are not DisplayCasePro measurements or physical fitting, dust, UV or load tests.
| Source | Published dimensions | Receiving question |
|---|---|---|
| Blacked Brick | External W57 × D33 × H17.2 cm. | Exact-set base cut-out, usable interior and settled car position. |
| FantasMall | 62 × 30 × 20 cm; FAQ says internal, axes unlabelled. | Labelled drawing and current base material. |
| Wicked Brick | External W63 × D43 × H33.3 cm. | Complete angled car on the supplied stems and hooks. |
Blacked Brick’s product main was readable through an ordinary web source reported as crawled the previous week; the direct HTTP request remained blocked. Confirm its current drawing and contents. The page names a set-specific base cut-out, plaque and clear or two printed rear choices, without supplying an interior measurement.
FantasMall also prints 25 × 12 × 8 inches. Those are rounded alternative figures, not exact conversions of the centimetre line. Its general outside-offset FAQ is not a product-specific external drawing. The page announces a solid wood base upgrade while its materials line still lists acrylic and PVC. Ask which finished base and floor height apply to the actual order.
Keep the complete angled arrangement with its case
Wicked Brick describes 5 mm angled stems, a support stem and double hooks locating beneath the car. That is a different arrangement from an unraised car on a located base. Its taller exterior cannot be treated as a recommendation for every RSR stand or a generic angle.
The description identifies a magnetic two-tier base and a lift-away clear surround that returns to grooves. The magnets connect base parts; they are not a statement that the car is magnetically retained. Request the actual contact drawing and supported outline, including the rear wing, mirrors, diffuser and plaque.
Choose the viewing side before adding the rear treatment. A raised position may expose a different part of the cockpit, but it does not establish that a door can move through its full arc with the cover fitted. Plan opening and model handling using that exact stand rather than transferring an installation from another supercar.
An open wall receiver needs an installed-depth record
| Source | Stated arrangement | Confirm separately |
|---|---|---|
| HUYL Pur Gris | 70 × 40 × 5 cm display; 5 mm panel, spruce frame and Technic anchors. | Loaded projection and instructions for the chosen vertical or horizontal orientation. |
| CubeBuff selected 42096 frame | 50 × 80 × 3.5 cm frame; 47.6 × 77.6 × 2.8 cm frame space. | Whole car projection, selected retaining components and wall attachment. |
| Elevenmark article | Unlit or illuminated frame discussion, including plug/USB options. | Exact receiving product and cover contents; no RSR cavity is documented. |
HUYL explicitly describes dual anchors and both orientations for this reference. Its listed packaging size is a separate boundary. Neither the 5 cm display depth nor the shallow CubeBuff frame-space line includes a documented complete car projection. Obtain the loaded dimensions and installation instructions rather than comparing those figures with case interiors.

CubeBuff explicitly separates its 42096, 42141 and 42171 configurations. The corresponding backgrounds and receiving positions change with the selected set. Its description identifies a wall frame rather than a fully enclosed or tabletop case, so use the matching RSR option and its own instructions.
Plan closed display and occasional cockpit access separately
Start with the doors closed and the mirrors settled, recording the whole supported outline. If you want a door left open, record that complete arrangement separately and obtain confirmation. An exterior box dimension does not establish an open-door cavity.
For occasional cockpit viewing, decide how the clear surround comes off, where it rests and how you reach the door without pressing the mirrors or rear wing. A flat-pack assembly panel is not automatically a routine front door. With an angled support, ask whether the model stays on its intended contacts during the planned access sequence.
Use the RSR support and door-access worksheet. Keep model identity, source conflicts and the current drawing together. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers furniture placement; the collection wall guide covers the surrounding layout.
Common questions
Can a Porsche 10295 case description confirm RSR fit?
No. Obtain a specification for 42096 and its intended support. The shared Porsche name is insufficient.
Does a 5 cm wall-display depth contain the whole car?
The cited wall-display line does not establish that. Request the complete installed projection with the model attached.
