Choose a LEGO orchid display by set number and format first. Orchid 10311 and Mini Orchid 10343 are different models, and a wall-mounted open stand serves a different purpose from a complete clear case. Once those choices are settled, check the whole plant, pot, support and opening route together.
Keep 10311 and 10343 separate before choosing a size
| Official set | Published reference | Display distinction |
|---|---|---|
| Orchid 10311 | Over H39 × W30 × D24 cm. | White and pink flowers, a blue fluted vase, five leaves and two wandering air roots. Stems, blooms, roots and leaves can be posed. |
| Mini Orchid 10343 | Over 25 cm tall; no width/depth is supplied in the descriptive specification used here. | Five blooms, buds and leaves, a light terracotta flowerpot and a wood-effect plinth. |
These are official model references, not minimum case specifications or measurements of every arrangement. Keep the metric axes together and retain “over” with the stated figures. The word Mini is an identity clue; the set number is the useful order record.
Both models include their own brick-built lower presentation. This differs from a loose-stem bouquet needing a separately selected vase. Do not replace the included orchid pot or add a second vase merely because a general Botanical display photograph shows one.
For 10311, the pot alone does not define the outline
LEGO describes posing 10311 by rotating its stems, blooms, roots and leaves, and rebuilding stems into different flower arrangements. Choose the intended state before measuring. The widest flower or wandering root can matter more than the pot's diameter.
Record the complete plant from the surface supporting its vase: highest bloom, widest leaf or flower, furthest root and the whole lower footprint. Keep a front and side photograph. If the stems are rebuilt or posed differently, recheck the resulting outline before returning an enclosure.
For 10343, include the flowerpot and its wood-effect plinth together. The appearance of that plinth is not evidence that it is a separate wooden support. Added labels, lighting parts or surrounding decoration also need their own positions in the same record.
Compare exact sets and formats before heights
The following five supplier pages were individually read for this comparison. Most were directly readable on 17 October 2026. shopPOPdisplays' published description was available through a version crawled ten months earlier; current direct access returned a verification page. Its reference is therefore attributed and needs current confirmation before ordering.
| Product and target | Published dimensions | Format and remaining check |
|---|---|---|
| Kingdom Brick Supply 10311 | Approximate internal L39.2 × W26.4 × H42.4 cm; external L40.7 × W27.9 × H43.3 cm. | Enclosure; separate 48 × 32-stud area. Compare your actual posed plant with the usable interior. |
| iDisplayit 10311 | Internal L39 × W26 × H43 cm; external L41 × W28 × H44 cm. | Enclosure with fourteen screws and top secured to the surround. Confirm the routine opening method. |
| Wicked Brick Mini Orchid 10343, LDS716.1.11 | Product W22 × D14.3 × H42.2 cm. | Open wall stand with rotating base, printed background and plaque. This is not an internal cavity or a 10311 support. |
| FantasMall Mini Orchid 10343 | L25 × W15 × H30 cm; FAQ identifies labelled sizes as internal. | Enclosure. Obtain the exact finished exterior, selected base and opening route for the mini plant. |
| shopPOPdisplays 10311, P_21081 | Approximate external including base H18 × W16 × D11 in. | Ready-to-assemble enclosure with black acrylic base. Current usable cavity and specification need confirmation; earlier published description used. |
iDisplayit's 43 cm internal height and Kingdom Brick Supply's approximate 42.4 cm internal height can be kept as receiving references, but neither establishes room for every rebuilt stem arrangement. The official “over 39 cm” is not your completed plant measurement or a promise of several centimetres of working space.
Their shared 48 × 32-stud statements do not describe the full flower and root spread above the floor. A rectangular base-area reference is useful alongside the actual plant outline, not as a substitute for it.
An open rotating stand and an enclosed mini case solve different tasks
Wicked Brick explicitly identifies its 10343 product as wall-mounted and describes a rotating base. Choose it for that open presentation only after obtaining its actual support and installation instructions. Supplied mounting screws do not establish a universal fixing for every wall.
The stand's W22 × D14.3 × H42.2 cm product line does not describe the space around the plant during rotation. Ask about the complete model projection and permitted movement at the intended location. Its printed backing provides a visual setting; it does not enclose the flowers or establish tested UV filtering.
FantasMall's 10343 product is an enclosure with an internal L25 × W15 × H30 cm reference. Its description mentions an upgraded solid-wood base while the Materials line says acrylic and PVC. Keep that unresolved material difference with the order question and request the currently supplied base.
The same page describes its painted background as nonremovable. Confirm the view you want before choosing that option. Approximate FAQ offsets and rounded inch equivalents should not be combined into an exact finished exterior for an unconfirmed base version.

Plan access around the finished stems and roots
iDisplayit's 10311 description says its top is secured to the rest of the clear case. Do not assume the top alone lifts as a routine lid. Ask how the completed surround is intended to open and how it passes the highest blooms, wide leaves and air roots.
For another enclosure, obtain that product's own opening sequence. A flat-packed kit describes how it arrives, not which panel should be repeatedly removed around a tall plant. Keep somewhere for the surround to rest and make later model adjustments according to the actual set instructions.
Both iDisplayit and Kingdom Brick Supply explicitly say their cited 10311 cases are not designed to be relocated with the model inside. Choose the final furniture location before filling them. Keep the entire exterior in that plan: the inside floor does not measure the whole case footprint.
The LEGO shelf-case guide covers receiving furniture for an enclosure. For the separate wall-stand route, use the collection wall planning guide only after the maker-specific support and installation specification is known.
Keep the set, pot/plinth, final stem and root state, dimensions and opening questions in the orchid identity and display worksheet. None of these supplier descriptions is an independent protection or fit test.
Common questions
Is every LEGO orchid case for 10311?
No. The cited products also include 10343 Mini Orchid, and one is an open stand. Confirm both the number and the physical format.
Can I choose from the flowerpot size?
Include the highest blooms, furthest leaves and roots, and the complete lower support. For 10311, those positions can change with the chosen arrangement.
Does a rotating base mean the plant fits at every angle?
The product description alone does not establish the full movement envelope at your wall. Obtain the intended supported arrangement and allowed clearance.
