LEGO Lamborghini Sian Display Cases: 42115 Doors and Stands

Compare Lamborghini Sian 42115 case dimensions and included stands. Plan scissor-door, hood and spoiler states with clear interior, base and opening checks.

LEGO Lamborghini Sian Display Cases: 42115 Doors and Stands

Choose a LEGO Lamborghini Sian display case for set 42115 around the car's settled pose, its support and your plan for the scissor doors. A low enclosure around a wheel-supported car and a taller case with an inclined stand are different arrangements. Neither a set number nor a photograph establishes room to operate the doors inside.

The model reference does not include every door and spoiler state

LEGO's Sián FKP 37 specification identifies 42115 as a 1:8 model over H13 × L60 × W25 cm. It describes scissor-opening doors, a movable rear spoiler and opening front and rear hoods. Those features create several possible outlines.

The published model height is not a confirmed height with the scissor doors raised. Nor does it include an aftermarket stand, a decorative base or a separately placed information plaque. Use it to identify the car and understand what needs checking, then obtain the full dimensions for your desired presentation.

Decide which detail attracts you most. Closed doors emphasize the lime body and gold wheels. A door-open pose reveals the cockpit and changes the upper outline. An inclined support changes the complete silhouette again. Write that choice before you shortlist an enclosure.

A supplied stand changes the case comparison

Three Sián arrangements that need separate fit evidence
PoseInformation to obtainAssumption to avoid
Car on its wheelsActual car outline, settled door/spoiler states and any plaque position.LEGO's reference height covers open scissor doors.
Car on a fitted standExact supplied support, intended contact points and full posed dimensions. The support height can simply be added to a car sitting level, or any other stand will work.
Open-door displayBoth raised doors in the chosen supported state, plus the route for opening the case.A photo of open doors proves the same pose fits under a closed cover.

Wicked Brick's 42115 description explicitly describes clear stems that connect beneath the vehicle and hold it in a dynamic driving position. This is a particular supported system, not a spare empty box to compare solely by its length.

Laser Frame's Sián case also lists a custom fabricated acrylic internal stand. The text read does not give its pose angle or a labelled case cavity. Ask for both, together with the support instructions, before comparing it with a car resting on its wheels.

An inclined car can occupy more height and a different floor outline. Do not reconstruct a stand's geometry from an attractive photograph or change its contact arrangement to make the numbers work. Use the actual supported car shown in the maker's fit documentation.

Keep each maker's dimension definition intact

The following are source-led examples, not physical tests or a best-case ranking. Descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. Unspecified receiving space remains an unanswered question; the missing numbers have not been calculated from panel thickness.

Laser Frame 421153 mm clear sides/top, 5 mm black base and an internal stand. No case dimensions in the relevant description read. Request labelled interior/exterior and the complete stand-mounted outline.
Brickcessories 42115Assembled 660 × 330 × 180 mm; SKU LDC005.02.C.The sequence has no axis or inside/outside labels. Confirm those definitions, supported pose and door state.

The tall Wicked Brick exterior and iDisplayit's lower interior are not equivalent measurements of spare room. They also describe different product arrangements. An external height of 33.3 cm cannot be compared with an internal height of 20 cm as though both were clearance above the same mounted car.

Similarly, an assembled 180 mm dimension does not establish 180 mm of free height. Without its axis label and reference surfaces, it cannot be used to approve an open-door presentation. Keep the uncertainty attached to that exact case rather than correcting the size line yourself.

Separate an open-door scene from operating the scissor doors

There are two useful choices: display the doors in a defined raised position, or display them closed and open the case for occasional handling. The first requires the complete static outline of both raised doors. The second requires a documented access route before you touch the car.

Neither choice proves that the doors can sweep through their movement with the cover fitted. Leave that operation outside the enclosure unless the maker specifically documents working clearance for the complete supported setup. Do not use the space above a plaque or another accessory as a guessed door allowance.

Decide whether the front hood, rear hood and spoiler are also part of the permanent scene. Showing several features at once can change the outline at opposite ends of the car. Specify the combination rather than collecting separate assurances that each feature fits in isolation.

A defined raised-door pose is different from a door movement range. Invented geometry is not a LEGO hinge diagram, a stem attachment instruction or a verified clearance.

The base and background belong to the selected version

Wicked Brick describes a lift-off clear surround, a plaque and an optional themed background. Its stack description refers to a particular same-base-size construction with the lid removed and the sides engaging another base. Do not reinterpret that as permission to pile complete covered boxes together; obtain the maker's current stacking and load instructions for the actual combination.

iDisplayit distinguishes Black, White and Clear (Stackable) base options. The parenthetical belongs to the named option. It supplies neither an arbitrary stack count nor approval for mixing brands or footprints. Keep the base choice in your record even if the car and enclosure name are unchanged.

Elevenmark describes a mirrored and printed base effect, background and information display. Check which side of the car you want to see against that artwork and whether the plaque blocks a wheel or sill from your normal viewing position. A reflective floor is a presentation choice, not extra usable height or evidence of long-term protection.

For a lift-off surround, plan where it will go after removal and check the route past the highest door or spoiler point. For a bracketed or click-fit case, obtain that construction's opening method. Assembly material thickness alone does not identify the access panel.

Use the blank Sián pose worksheet to keep the support, doors, hoods, spoiler, plaque and size definitions together. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers the separate receiving furniture, and the display lighting guide covers reflections and access around any added light.

Common questions

Does a 42115 case automatically fit the scissor doors open?

No complete open-door fit follows from the set number alone. Confirm both doors in the actual supported position, with the cover closed and the plaque in place.

Can I add my existing stand to a case intended for a level car?

Only a documented compatible combination can settle that. Obtain the complete posed dimensions and receiving space; a stand that fits the car is not automatically compatible with the case.

Which size should I use for my shelf?

Use the full exterior including the base, then check opening and handling space. Use the labelled clear interior for the contents. They answer different questions.
