LEGO Ferrari 488 Display Cases: 42125 Flat, Angled or Wall

Choose a LEGO Ferrari 488 GTE display around set 42125 and the presentation you want: on its wheels, on a confirmed angled support or on a wall receiver. Compare the actual car arrangement with each case’s size definition. A wall frame, a flat case and a case with underbody hooks are different products.

Keep the doors, hood and support in one outline

LEGO’s official 42125 description gives a model over H13 × L48 × W21 cm, with opening doors and hood, steering, suspension and a V8 engine with moving pistons. It does not supply the complete outline of a car on an aftermarket support or a pose with every panel open.

Write 42125 on the record before comparing enclosures. A Ferrari Daytona, F40 or another race car has its own set and receiving geometry. Keep the race livery and chosen viewing side as presentation decisions without using a red-car photograph as compatibility evidence.

Choose the receiving system as well as the format

BrickzoneHub’s 42125 display article favors a wall frame and discusses room position and viewing height. It does not supply the exact receiver dimensions, support components or cover construction in the article read. Treat that as a format to investigate, rather than a verified covered alternative to a tabletop case.

Keep the car-to-frame attachment and the frame-to-wall installation as separate requirements. A scenic board does not establish either connection, and an open wall presentation does not gain a clear enclosure from general dust-protection wording. Obtain the selected product’s instructions and contents.

Retain each supplier’s actual measurement boundary

These four product descriptions were read on 18 October 2026 alongside the wall-format article. They are published specifications, not measured receiving drawings or DisplayCasePro fit tests.

Brickcessories’ assembled sequence is not a labelled internal box. Do not subtract the car’s 13 cm reference from 190 mm and call the result clearance: the axes, base datum and full chosen pose remain unresolved. Its aluminum corner brackets and screws describe construction, not an ordinary front door.

Blacked Brick identifies a model-locating cut-out, plaque and clear or printed rear choices. That is a particular base arrangement, not proof that an added stand or raised hood shares the same fit. Retain its external dimensions for furniture and ask separately for the receiving space.

Wicked Brick explicitly describes 5 mm angled stems, a support stem and double support hooks that slot beneath the model. Those components distinguish its system from a car resting on its wheels. The read text does not supply a numerical angle or the exact contact map, so follow its actual support instructions instead of reproducing a contact position from an unrelated car.

FantasMall’s current base descriptions need confirmation

The FantasMall page presents an upgrade with a solid-wood platform and brushed wood finish, while its lower materials line still says acrylic and PVC. Keep both descriptions in the enquiry. Do not silently choose one material or assume that a previously photographed base is the current version supplied.

Its FAQ calls the size internal, but the numeric sequence does not name the axes, and 25 inches is not exactly 62 cm. Ask for a single labelled drawing with units and the finished-base reference surface. General outside-offset guidance on the page is not an exact external drawing for the selected case.

The same listing names several other cars. That is not a universal fit approval for every Technic vehicle, open-panel scene or added stand. Keep 42125 and the actual selected base and rear treatment on the order record. A non-removable printed background also changes the view and the available opening routine.

Plan panel access separately from lid removal and stacking

Choose whether the doors and hood stay in a fixed display position or are opened only after the enclosure is accessible. A photograph of an already open door does not establish its movement range inside a closed cover or the space needed to reach the mechanism.

Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround away from its base. Its stacking instructions also specifically call for removing the lid so the four sides can locate underneath another same-base-size case. Do not read that as a complete-cover stacking method, a mixed-brand approval or a loaded weight limit.

The same product describes a vinyl background sticker in the text read. Keep that component with the chosen option instead of transferring another Ferrari case’s UV-printed-panel update. A printing process or scenic rear does not independently establish UV filtering.

Before placing the case in a shelf recess, identify where the surround will pass the supported car and where it will rest. For the other constructions, obtain their own routine opening instructions; assembly screws are not permission to dismantle an arbitrary panel beside the model.
