LEGO Ducati Display Cases: 42107, 42202 and Stand Fit

Compare LEGO Ducati display cases for 42107 V4 R and 42202 V4 S. Check the current compatible set, supported bike, clear interior, full base and wall-frame format.

LEGO Ducati Display Cases: 42107, 42202 and Stand Fit

Choose a LEGO Ducati display case by set number first. The smaller Panigale V4 R 42107 and larger Panigale V4 S 42202 are different models with different supported outlines. Then choose a covered tabletop display or a wall-frame arrangement, confirm the actual stand and compare the whole bike with a clearly defined receiving space.

42202 Panigale V4 SOver H30 × L43 × W15 cm. LEGO describes an included stand, steering, suspension and rear-wheel-driven chain/gearbox features. What complete supported outline and steering state does the case's fit information assume?

Keep the dimensions in their published order with their axis labels. They identify different builds; they are not two size options for one Ducati. The reference lines do not independently document every steering position or an aftermarket support.

Record your set number from the build or its instructions. Then identify its actual support. A motorcycle shown upright in a product image is not evidence that it stands securely without that support, nor that any stand sold under the Ducati name has the same loaded height.

Choose the visible side and settled front-wheel position before comparing the receiving width. A turned front assembly changes the outline you need to document. Do not force the steering or suspension to make an uncertain case size work.

An old set number in the URL can disagree with the current product

The observed Wicked Brick Ducati page has 42107 and V4 R in its address. When read on 17 October 2026, that same address returned a page titled for the V4 S 42202, with 42202 repeated in its compatibility statement and product description.

That is not evidence of current 42107 compatibility. Keep the address and current content together and ask the supplier to identify the product for your exact set. Do not silently rename it a V4 R case because the older number appears in a search result or URL.

The current text gives 500 × 250 × 333 mm, labelled W × D × H, but does not identify the line as internal or external. Its title and compatibility statement help identify the advertised model; they do not turn those numbers into clear space above the finished base.

Compare the enclosure, base and receiving cavity separately

The following 42202 examples were read on 17 October 2026. They are source-led comparisons, not physically tested recommendations or a guarantee that every support and steering state fits. Unspecified dimensions remain questions.

ICUANUTY 42202Explicitly external 50 × 25 × 33 cm; 3 mm acrylic and an integrated base described.Axis definitions, usable interior, support and the selected lighted or unlighted configuration.

iDisplayit's 36 cm internal height and ICUANUTY's 33 cm external dimension do not describe equivalent free space. First confirm the receiving surfaces and the supported bike. Do not subtract panel thickness from an outside figure to invent a cavity.

For Flying Box, a shelf accepting an 18.5 × 7.25-inch rectangle still needs to receive the listed 19 × 7.75-inch base. Keep that separate footprint in the furniture record. The material-thickness lines do not explain the base's internal projections or the support supplied with the enclosure.

ICUANUTY's page includes an illuminated-case lead-time notice and material-test claims. Neither establishes which lighting equipment comes with a particular order. This guide has not evaluated the cited test report or verified complete-case UV filtering, dust isolation or brick-contact compatibility.

A Ducati wall frame is a different physical format

The Elevenmark 42202 display frame appears among the sampled results. Its description concerns a wall-mounted frame and artwork, rather than a labelled covered cavity. Do not count it as another tabletop enclosure solely because the search query says case.

The page labels Vertical as W50 × H80 cm and Horizontal as W40 × H70 cm. Keep those labels and dimensions as published. They are not a simple reversal of one rectangle, and they are not interior depth measurements. Ask which board, orientation and supplied mounting system the actual order uses.

For a wall format, establish the complete bike-and-board projection, approved model supports, total assembly and wall requirements. A frame's nominal weight or a promise of easy installation does not document the wall's capacity or provide a mounting recipe for your room.

Compare the physical formats before comparing numbers. Invented bike, board and support silhouettes are not mounting instructions, accurate LEGO geometry or tested compatibility.

Support the chosen bike and establish access before demonstrating features

Record the stand's exact identity and the complete supported length, width and height. Keep the information plaque in the same plan. A slim plaque can still occupy a sightline or an area needed to remove the supported model.

For a covered display, identify the opening direction and where the removed part will rest. Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear section from the base. Another maker's construction can require a different access sequence; a flat-packed delivery description alone does not settle ordinary opening around the bike.

The 42202 model's rear wheel operates the chain and gearbox features. A support that presents the bike attractively is not automatically a setup for demonstrating those functions with the enclosure closed. Establish access and follow the model and support instructions before handling movable features.

Choose the background after deciding which side of the bike faces the room. A racing image can suit that view, but it does not identify the support, document turning clearance or change the compatible set. Keep lighting and its cable route as additional components rather than assuming they occupy no space.

Use the Ducati identity, support and format worksheet to retain the current listing title and any conflicting URL number. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers furniture placement. The collection wall guide covers the separate room-layout task for a mounted format.

Common questions

Will one Ducati case fit both 42107 and 42202?

Do not assume shared compatibility. Identify the exact set and actual supported outline, then obtain the chosen product's corresponding fit information.

Does a 42107 URL prove the current page sells a 42107 case?

No. The cited page currently names 42202 in its title and compatibility text. Resolve that mismatch before relying on it for the older model.

Can a wall frame replace a dust cover?

Check whether the exact frame actually has an enclosing cover. Artwork and a mounting board do not by themselves provide one.
