LEGO Destiny's Bounty Display Cases: 70618, 71705 and 71797

Separate Destiny's Bounty 70618, 71705 and 71797 before choosing a case or wall frame. Check sails, engines, dragons, base versions and opening access.

LEGO Destiny's Bounty Display Cases: 70618, 71705 and 71797

Choose a LEGO NINJAGO Destiny’s Bounty display case by set number before comparing sizes. Movie ship 70618, Legacy ship 71705 and Race Against Time 71797 have different outlines and features. The sampled products also mix enclosed cases and a wall frame, so the shared ship name is only the beginning of the selection.

The three set numbers describe different ships

Three official Destiny’s Bounty identities
SetPublished model referenceRetain with the scene
70618 Movie shipUS specification: over H17 × L21 × W6 in.Three modular levels, double-headed dragon figurehead, sails, wind-up anchors and seven minifigures.
71705 Legacy shipOver H32 × L44 × W38 cm.Moving sails, rotating engines, dropping anchor and seven minifigures.
71797 Race Against TimeOver H23 × L53 × W31 cm.Six minifigures, a nesting elemental dragon, Baby Riyu, adjustable sails and rotating engines.

Keep each source’s units and labels attached to its number. A case advertised for 70618 is not established as a 71705 receiver because both use decorated sails. Likewise, a 71705 wall frame is a different product from a box for the lower 71797 airship.

Choose the resting scene before planning a feature demonstration

For 70618, decide which modular levels remain installed and where the crew and anchors rest. If a level is already removed to show the interior, record the complete prepared arrangement. Its static fit is a different question from lifting that level beneath a closed cover.

For 71705, record the actual sail and engine positions. Moving them can change the occupied width or projection. Ask for the intended display state rather than treating the official reference as the maximum outline of every permitted configuration.

For 71797, choose whether the elemental dragon remains nested at the front or is displayed separately. Give Baby Riyu and the selected figures real positions too. LEGO identifies a removable roof over navigation and play rooms; establish enclosure access before using that feature. A ship-only reference does not measure every separated dragon-and-crew scene.

Separate exact model cavities from a category and frame footprint

These five descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They establish different product scopes, rather than five interchangeable ship boxes. No physical fitting, stacking, wall installation or protection testing was performed for this guide.

Elevenmark categoryThirteen cards; includes a 71705 wall frame and a separate 71848 frame. Each selected leaf’s specification; a category supplies no shared ship cavity.
BrickBox 71797Internal W600 × D380 × H280 mm.Exact EcoLine/PremiumLine base, receiving datum and complete exterior.

BrickShell’s 70618 copy refers to a stud-launching deck. That phrase should not override the official model’s stated features or supply a firing mechanism for this guide. Keep any uncertain feature description with the supplier enquiry and use the actual set instructions for model handling.

Elevenmark’s category also contains buildings, minifigure displays and a coin display. Thirteen cards do not mean thirteen Destiny’s Bounty cases. Its Temple Bounty 71848 frame is separately named; neither the theme nor a displayed price establishes compatibility or current stock.

The 71705 frame needs a depth and an exact lighting package

DIA gives an overall width and height, but those two figures do not describe the ship’s projection from the wall or a closing cavity. Obtain the actual support and retention design before planning a vertical presentation. Do not improvise an attachment from a gallery picture or turn a model toward the wall simply because it fits a front rectangle.

The selector offers a Basic Non-Illuminated version and an LED USB version, while shared copy says all cases are non-lighted. Its FAQ describes white, non-color-changing light and excludes the plug and power bank. Ask which exact configuration the quotation covers. An A, B or C background label does not resolve the lighting conflict or the mount construction.

Confirm the selected base before using the inside-height line

BrickBox distinguishes EcoLine’s single base from PremiumLine’s double-layer contoured base. Keep that chosen version with the labelled 280 mm internal-height enquiry. Ask where the measurement begins instead of subtracting guessed layers or assuming every base has the same finished-floor datum.

Its package lists four walls, a top, connectors, screws, an Allen key and felt pads, with backgrounds and engraved plates optional. That assembly list does not define a routine access door or document a separate dragon’s position.

Original records separating a chosen ship scene, the receiving product and access after opening the enclosure
Invented task records. No real ship geometry, wall fixing, engine or roof mechanism, approved dragon placement or measured operating clearance is shown.

Identify the actual case opening and somewhere for its removed section to rest. Then use the model instructions for levels, roof, sails or engines. Use the Bounty identity and scene worksheet with the LEGO shelf-case guide and collection-wall guide.

Common questions

Does a Destiny’s Bounty case fit all three sets?

The sampled products name different models and formats. Obtain explicit compatibility and a receiving drawing for your exact set and arrangement.

Does the 71797 ship reference include every dragon layout?

Record the actual nested or separate dragon, Baby Riyu and figure positions. The published ship reference is not a floor plan for every scene.
