Choose a LEGO Dark Falcon display case for set 75389 in the presentation you actually want: resting horizontally, held on an identified angled support, or displayed on the wall. Keep the support, crew positions and complete exterior with that choice. A wall hanger and a clear surrounding case provide different kinds of display.
The Dark Falcon needs its own model and scene record
LEGO’s official 75389 specification describes the dark version of the Millennium Falcon from Rebuild the Galaxy. Its published reference is over 12 cm high, 43 cm long and 32 cm wide. Those figures identify the model; they do not describe every aftermarket supported position or the movement of its opening panels.
The set has flip-up top panels, a removable cockpit, rotating cannons, a radar dish and a removable gunner post. Its six characters can remain within the ship or form part of a separate visible crew arrangement. Decide what you want to see before choosing the case floor and background.
Keep 75389 on the supplier enquiry even when the listing simply says Falcon. UCS 75192, another Millennium Falcon model and this Dark Falcon have different footprints and intended supports. A familiar spacecraft outline cannot establish a common cradle or receiving cavity.
A flat case, an angled enclosure and a wall hanger have separate requirements
| Presentation | Record together | Resolve before selection |
|---|---|---|
| Horizontal covered display | The complete resting ship, crew, plaque and selected panel state. | Clear receiving floor and height above the finished base. |
| Angled or vertical covered display | The exact compatible support and whole supported scene. | Included stand, actual receiving outline and cover route. |
| Open wall hanger | Ship, crew locations, complete projection and intended wall position. | The maker’s fixing and removal instructions; a hanger supplies no surrounding cavity. |
The same ship can present a broad horizontal plan or a taller supported profile. Compare the arrangements that produce the view you want. Rotating LEGO’s reference rectangle on paper does not supply the height, contact geometry or footprint of a real supported model.
For a wall display, establish the whole front projection as well as width and height. The placement question includes nearby furniture, the approach to the ship and its intended removal route. A pair of quoted wall-hanger dimensions cannot identify the wall construction or fixing package.
Keep each size attached to its product and orientation
These supplier descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They are attributed specifications, with their measurement boundaries retained. DisplayCasePro has not physically fitted these products or tested their protective performance.
| Exact product | Published size | Definition to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 75389 | W38 × D23 × H51.3 cm. | Inside/outside unlabelled; confirm support and usable cavity. |
| iDisplayit 75389 | Inside L52 × W39 × H16 cm; outside L54 × W41 × H17 cm. | Separate labelled interior and exterior; black or white base. |
| Blacked Brick angled 75389 | External W38 × D23 × H44 cm. | Described with an angled bow support; angle unspecified. |
| BrickShell wall hanger | H20.5 × W13.3 in. | Explicitly open; no front-projection or case-interior figure. |
| Flying Box 75389 | Vertical case L18.5 × W9 × H14.3 in; horizontal L18.5 × W13.8 × H6 in. | Case boundaries unlabelled; bases separately measure 19 × 9.5 and 19 × 14.3 in. |
Wicked Brick and Blacked Brick share 38 cm and 23 cm lines but publish different heights and different descriptions. Matching two numbers does not establish an identical product, support or cavity. Blacked Brick expressly labels its figures external; keep Wicked Brick’s unclassified boundary open until confirmed.
Flying Box’s vertical and horizontal choices also have different bases. Use the selected base’s complete footprint on the furniture. Its case dimensions should not be treated as a labelled interior, and the vertical option is not a mathematical rearrangement of the horizontal option.
Include the stand, crew and plaque in the same question
Blacked Brick describes an angled bow support, crew studs below the ship and an information plaque. Obtain the intended supported outline and actual supplied positions. The word angled does not provide a numerical angle or permission to use another manufacturer’s stand.
BrickShell explicitly describes its wall product as an open hanger, with stud-connecting positions for the crew. General protective language elsewhere on a brand’s site does not add an enclosing cover to that package. Confirm the actual wall attachment and complete loaded projection before placing it beside another display.
For iDisplayit, keep the identified product and selected base with your support enquiry. A labelled 16 cm interior height is a useful receiving figure, but it does not establish the combined height of your existing stand and ship. A stand visible in a related gallery is not an itemized contents list.

Open the enclosure before planning access to the ship
Choose whether the top panels stay closed daily or are already raised for a defined interior scene. A settled open panel needs its occupied space; flipping it up also needs a movement path and hand approach. The model’s closed reference dimensions do not supply either.
Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround from its base and returning it to grooves. Check that route past the actual dish, cockpit and supported hull, then reserve a resting place for the removed surround. Use another product’s own opening instructions rather than borrowing this sequence.
Place the crew and plaque before approving a rear print. An angled hull can hide a figure below it, while an opaque backdrop changes the view from behind. Choose the scene from the actual viewing height, keeping model access separate from a preferred background illustration.
Use the Dark Falcon format and access worksheet with the LEGO shelf-case guide. The collection-wall guide covers the separate wall-layout decision.
Common questions
Does a Dark Falcon wall hanger include a case?
The sampled BrickShell product is explicitly open. Confirm any surrounding enclosure as a separate named product and compatible arrangement.
Can the smallest quoted depth identify the best fit?
First establish the compatible support, complete pose and receiving cavity. Then compare the selected exterior footprints; the table mixes external, internal, unclassified and open-hanger dimensions.
