Choose a LEGO U-Wing display case by set number, wing state and support together. The 75155 Rogue One fighter and 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter are different builds. A case for the older model, a newer enclosed scene and a separately sold flight stand need their own receiving and package checks.
The model reference changes with the set and wing configuration
| Exact set | Official US reference | Retain for the scene |
|---|---|---|
| 75155 Rebel U-Wing Fighter | Closed wings: over H3 in, L17 × W7 in. Open wings: over L14 in, W25 in. | Separate closed and open references; actual support and all retained figures. |
| 75399 Rebel U-Wing Starfighter | Over H9 cm, L41 × W16 cm; the dimension line does not name the wing state. | Landing or V formation, supported outline, cockpit and passenger compartment. |
LEGO’s 75155 description identifies four engines, an opening cockpit with a lower observation window, opening side doors, a rear storage hold and wings that sweep back. Its closed and open dimensions are explicitly different. Keep the original US inch references rather than combining them into one supposed maximum box.
For 75399, LEGO describes landing mode and a V-shaped flight formation. A lever releases the cockpit canopy, and another compartment receives passengers and cargo. The quoted 41 × 16 cm plan is not labelled as a complete swept-wing or aftermarket-stand envelope.
The 75399 character group contains three minifigures and a K-2SO droid figure. Record the pieces you actually want displayed beside the ship. The five-character inventory of 75155 should not become the crew layout or stand-position count for the newer set.
One complete supported pose belongs with the case enquiry
Choose the wing state you want to see every day. Record the full outline at the tips, nose, engines and underside, including the exact support. A model shown in flight can occupy a different height and projected plan from the same model resting without that stand.
Do not infer a mounting position from the space available in a box. Establish the stand’s intended connection and model instructions first. A case listing’s set number does not authorize shifting a contact or folding a wing into an improvised intermediate position.
Keep the resting state separate from the movement required to change it. A fixed V formation needs its occupied space; swinging into that formation needs a path and access to the model. Neither requirement is supplied by a stand’s component height.
The sampled products include both enclosures and open supports

| Product | Published specification | Confirm for your arrangement |
|---|---|---|
| iDisplayit 75155 case | Inside L52 × W26 × H16 cm; outside L54 × W28 × H17 cm. | Older set and intended wing state; no assumed flight-stand bundle. |
| ICUANUTY 75399 case | L45 × W20 × H17 cm / 17.7 × 7.9 × 6.7 in. | Inside/outside unlabelled; actual wing and support state. |
| Wicked Brick 75399 stand | 3 mm clear stand, 5 mm black base and information plaque. | No numerical supported-ship size established by this materials list. |
| BrickShell 75399 case | H8 × W18 × D7.5 in; 5 mm acrylic. | Boundary unlabelled; actual receiver and selected wing state. |
| Brickcessories 75399 stand kit | 75 mm angled stand, 15-degree description, two mounting positions and a four-figure base. | Component specification, not a closed-case or complete supported height. |
The iDisplayit interior belongs to 75155. The older model’s much wider opened-wing reference makes a state-specific enquiry essential; do not treat the case’s set title as approval for every wing arrangement. Its two floor figures also provide no instructions for a diagonal placement.
ICUANUTY’s centimetre and inch figures are rounded pairs. Its acrylic test-report and dust-isolation statements do not identify the size boundary or confirm the intended wing pose. A material claim and a receiving dimension answer different questions; this guide has not independently verified that report or the finished enclosure’s performance.
A named stand and a complete surrounding case are different orders
Brickcessories itemizes GDS075.AB and BCS004.04: its 75 mm angled stand and four-figure base. The 75 mm figure describes the stand component, while the complete ship rises and projects according to its intended attachment and pose. Do not add that number to LEGO’s reference height to produce a verified case requirement.
Wicked Brick’s title and materials identify a display stand with plaque and minifigure positions. Its description also contains generic dust-free case wording. Obtain an itemized reply about the surrounding cover rather than assuming that wording adds an enclosure to the stand package.
BrickShell names a black base and starfield background for its 75399 case. A rear print sets a main viewing direction; it does not establish support inclusion, clear dimensions or room to swing the wings. Keep the exact package and background with the completed scene record.

Reach the cockpit after normal enclosure access is established
For 75399, choose whether the cockpit canopy and passenger compartment remain closed or form a deliberate open scene. The lever and an opening compartment need an approach for hands. A clear view through a panel is not the same as access to that control.
For 75155, retain the side-door and rear-hold requirements with that older model. Follow its own instructions instead of borrowing the newer set’s canopy-release procedure. A fixed display scene should preserve the actual configuration even when the two models share the U-Wing name.
Obtain the selected enclosure’s routine-opening sequence and a place for removed panels. Construction screws, tool-free assembly and a general stackable description do not establish a common access method. Keep wing changes outside an unverified enclosure’s operating space.
The U-Wing identity, wing-state and support worksheet keeps these fields together. Use the LEGO shelf-case guide and measurement guide for the separate furniture and complete-outline checks.
Common questions
Does a 75155 case also fit 75399?
Obtain compatibility for the actual model, stand and wing state. The two set names and different published references do not establish an interchangeable receiving system.
Does a 75 mm stand identify the required case height?
It identifies a stand component. Request the complete supported ship outline and labelled receiving cavity for the intended mounting position.
