LEGO Tuxedo Cat Display Cases: 21349 Poses and Cover Access

Plan a display case for LEGO Tuxedo Cat 21349. Compare posed outlines, inside and outside sizes, larger bases and cover access before choosing a case.

LEGO Tuxedo Cat Display Cases: 21349 Poses and Cover Access

Choose a LEGO Tuxedo Cat display case for the finished 21349 pose you want to see. Turning the head, adjusting an ear or moving the tail can change the outline near a clear panel. Keep that posed shape, the case’s usable interior and the cover-removal route as separate checks.

Start with 21349 and its chosen pose

LEGO’s official Tuxedo Cat description identifies a rotating head and adjustable ears, paws and tail. It also describes yellow or blue eyes and rebuilding the mouth open or closed. The model reference is over 32 cm high; the passage does not supply a complete width and depth for every pose.

Confirm the set number in both the collection record and case enquiry. A case for a different brick-built cat or a cover around the unopened retail box has another receiving task. This guide concerns the completed 21349 model and its selected appearance.

Choose the display pose before asking whether a box is large enough. Record the highest ear, widest head or paw position and furthest tail projection from front and side views. Include the actual base or locating arrangement supplied with the case. Follow the model instructions rather than forcing a joint or shortening the outline to agree with a catalogue size.

Treat eye and mouth choices differently from moving joints

Yellow or blue eyes; open or closed mouthThe configuration you have actually built.Where will the instructed change happen and where do removed parts rest?
Background and information plaqueThe chosen rear appearance and visible plaque location. Can the front view show the face without hiding the label?

The alternative eye and mouth parts do not all have to be displayed beside the cat. If you want to show or retain spare parts inside, name them and give them separate locations. Otherwise, keep their storage record with the set rather than assuming a case titled 21349 includes receiving spaces for every unused element.

A static outline does not prove room to make every adjustment under a closed cover. Decide whether pose changes will happen after removing the surround. Reaching around the head is a different task from looking at the eyes through the front, and an attractive final view does not establish an adequate hand approach.

Compare the same measurement boundary

The following descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. Dimensions remain attached to their original axes and inside/outside definitions. No case, joint or opening was physically tested for this guide.

Kingdom Brick Supply distinguishes its approximate inside and outside measurements and lists eight screws. Those details still do not measure your changed head or tail position. Use the actual pose in the enquiry rather than treating the stud area as a moving envelope.

Blacked Brick’s 33 cm external height cannot be reduced by LEGO’s over-32 cm model reference to produce a verified one-centimetre allowance. The external figure includes the case construction, and “over” is not an exact measurement of your build. Ask for usable space above the finished base and retain the real posed height.

Similarly, do not manufacture an interior by subtracting advertised acrylic thicknesses from an unclassified dimension line. A base, groove, fitting or locating arrangement may change the receiving space. Request an axis-labelled drawing for the exact version.

Include the full base and the intended viewing angle

The Flying Box description separates its 11 × 11-inch base from the 10.5 × 10.5-inch case sequence. Use the whole supplied footprint for the shelf plan. A case panel size alone does not describe the outside arrangement resting on the furniture.

Choose the front or three-quarter view from the place where the cat will usually be seen. A turned head may improve the face view while bringing an ear or cheek closer to a side panel. Keep the tail in the side view even if it is hidden in the photograph used for the front composition.

The BrickZoneHub guide offers broad buying and appearance advice. Such recommendations do not replace a receiving drawing, and the author’s experience is not a test performed by this site. This comparison therefore retains missing information rather than assigning a best-case score.

Match the cover routine to the actual pose

Wicked Brick expressly describes lifting the clear case from the base and returning it to grooves. Reserve that route past the ears, head and tail, plus a resting place for the removed surround. The closed outside dimensions do not supply the necessary movement space above a shelf.

Confirm the opening method for each other product separately. A shared set number or similar photograph is not evidence that every cover lifts, every top is loose or every front panel is removable. Ask which parts remain assembled during routine access.

Use the cat pose and cover worksheet to keep the selected configuration, spare parts and unresolved cavity questions together. The LEGO shelf case guide covers placement of the complete confirmed enclosure. Printed backgrounds and clear panels do not establish electrical lighting, UV performance or permission to stack loaded cases.

Common questions

Does the official height cover every cat pose?

It is the cited model reference, not a measured width, depth and height for every head, ear, paw or tail position. Record the actual permitted pose.

Can I adjust the cat without opening the case?

The case title does not establish that access. Confirm the specific routine; removing the surround may be necessary before making an instructed change.
