Choose a LEGO Trevi Fountain display case by confirming 21062 or 21020 first. Search results contain enclosures for both models, and one current page has a conflicting compatibility field. Keep the complete fountain scene, foreground and actual case version together before comparing dimensions.
Two Trevi Fountain numbers need different records
| LEGO set | Published metric reference | Scene identified in its description |
|---|---|---|
| Trevi Fountain 21062 | Over H25 × W38 × D18 cm. | Statues in minifigure form, a side Lovers’ Fountain, streetlamps, bollards and front nameplate. |
| Trevi Fountain 21020 | H14 × W20 × D14 cm. | Palazzo Poli façade, statues and translucent blue water-effect elements. |
The 21062 specification and 21020 specification describe their respective models. The figures are reference sizes, without an aftermarket base or case opening allowance. Keep the metric values together rather than mix their rounded inch equivalents into a precise fit calculation.
Record the number from your instructions, box or reliable collection record. A smaller enclosure is not simply another finish of a case for the larger scene. If the fountain has custom additions, include that complete arrangement in the enquiry.
The foreground is more than empty floor
For 21062, choose a view showing the façade, water scene and the details you value. LEGO identifies Oceanus in a shell chariot, Abundance and Health, hippocampi and Tritons, with the smaller Lovers’ Fountain at the side. Include the low front street furniture and plate in the outline.
A close product view can make the façade dominate while a low case edge interrupts the foreground from across the room. Sketch the normal viewing height and position. Keep the side fountain in that discussion instead of assuming every important feature faces directly forward.
For 21020, start with its actual complete build. Do not transfer the larger model’s additional scene components or its receiving dimensions. The shared landmark name connects the subjects, without making their enclosures interchangeable.
Match the target model before comparing the cavity
These descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They include different target sets and one unresolved compatibility entry. No listed pairing has been physically tested for this guide.
| Page identification | Published figures | Boundary or conflict |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick: title and description 21062 | W43 × D23 × H28.3 cm. | Compatibility field says 42202; inside/outside is unlabelled. Confirm the intended order. |
| Blacked Brick: 21062 | External W45 × D25 × H27 cm. | Request the receiving cavity above its actual floor. |
| iDisplayit: 21020 | Inside L21 × W15 × H16 cm; outside L23 × W17 × H17 cm. | Belongs to the smaller model, with a separate 26 × 18-stud reference. |
| Flying Box: 21062 | Case L16.5 × W8.5 × H10.75 in; base 17 × 9 in. | Case boundary unlabelled; keep the larger base footprint. |
| Kingdom Brick Supply: 21020 | Approx. inside L23.2 × W16.8 × H16.8 cm; outside L24.7 × W18.3 × H17.4 cm. | Belongs to 21020, with a separate 28 × 20-stud reference. |
iDisplayit’s page explicitly names 21020. Its 21 cm internal length should stay with that model. Likewise, Kingdom Brick Supply’s approximate cavity is not evidence for 21062 merely because the landmark appears in the same search.
Blacked Brick gives an external height for 21062 and describes a shaped base cut-out. Obtain the intended orientation and clear interior. Subtracting the model’s rounded 25 cm reference from that outside height would not establish usable headroom.
A compatibility line should agree with the order
Wicked Brick’s Trevi page has 21062 in its heading and product description, while its compatible-set fields say 42202. Preserve both entries in your enquiry and ask the supplier to confirm which model and base the selected order receives. This guide does not silently correct that field or treat the conflict as resolved compatibility.
The same page describes a lift-off clear case returning to grooves and a postcard-style background. Those construction and artwork descriptions do not settle the contradictory set entry. Get the identity answer before using its size line as the basis for an order.
A model photograph, title and selected variant should identify the same intended scene. Keep a copy of the confirmed specification with your collection record so a later request for a replacement panel or base refers to the actual product.

Plan the cover and the complete base together
Flying Box separately gives a 17 × 9-inch base. Use that full footprint for the furniture, while asking what the narrower case line measures. Links to general wall-mounted or minifigure videos do not establish this fountain enclosure’s routine opening.
iDisplayit describes assembling its 21020 surround with eight fittings, placing the lid on top and locating the clear case over the model on the base. Follow the selected product’s actual instructions and reserve somewhere for removed parts. Its page also says the case is not designed for relocation with LEGO inside.
A printed rear changes the composition behind the façade, without adding physical scene depth. If you want to inspect another side, establish the sightline and case opening separately. The foreground, side projection and plate should stay clear of the enclosure’s intended movement.
The cover is CubeBuff’s 21062 product photograph, used with permission. Whole composition retained, proportionally resized and compressed to WebP. It shows CubeBuff’s printed-background case, not 21020, a compared supplier’s product or our fit test.
Use the Trevi set-identity and case worksheet with the LEGO shelf case guide to retain the confirmed number, current specification and complete enclosure footprint.
Common questions
Does any Trevi Fountain case fit either model?
Confirm the exact set statement. The sampled pages distinguish 21062 and 21020, with substantially different model and receiving references.
Which number should I trust on the conflicting page?
Request a written confirmation of the actual order. The heading’s 21062 and compatibility field’s 42202 remain unresolved here.
