Choose a LEGO TIE Fighter display case by exact set number and object type. UCS TIE Fighter 75095 and First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter 75101 are spacecraft; 75274 is the TIE Fighter Pilot Helmet. Open ship stands also appear in related catalogues, but they do not supply an enclosing case.
After identifying the build, list the support package. A case with under-ship hooks, a case around your existing arrangement and a separate open stand have different receiving requirements. Keep the ship or helmet, stand, figures, plaque and full base together in the comparison.
The pilot helmet is a different object from the fighter
LEGO's 75095 description identifies the UCS spacecraft, an opening top hatch, a supplied display stand, fact plaque and TIE Fighter Pilot minifigure. Its published model reference is H18.5 × L12 × W12.2 inches. That reference is not the receiving envelope on a different supplier's support.
LEGO 75274 instead describes a buildable helmet on a base with nameplate, measuring H18 × W13 × D15 cm. Its shape and label arrangement differ from a ship with two large wing panels. Keep that identity explicit when a search result shortens the product name to “TIE Fighter.”
Do not transfer generic case copy into the LEGO contents list. A case seller's reference to minifigure studs or a clear stand does not prove that the helmet set includes a minifigure, or that the support supplied for another fighter is appropriate. Confirm the exact set and both manufacturers' contents separately.
Compare dimensions only after the object and package match
The sources below were read in October 2026. The helmet maker's indexed page was older, so its role is to establish the format and attributed size, not current availability. Figures are published specifications, not our measurements.
| Source and exact object | Published size or format | Receiving definition |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 75095 | External W43 × D43 × H52.3 cm; supplied stems and two hooks beneath the ship. | External size is not a clear cavity. Confirm the complete supported scene and the lift-off route. |
| iDisplayit 75101 | Inside L26 × W26 × H24 cm; outside L28 × W28 × H25 cm. | Case, instructions and fittings are listed; a flight stand is not in that contents list. |
| shopPOPdisplays 75274 helmet | Approximate external size including base: H10.2 × W8 × D8 in. Assembly and rear-panel choices are described. | A helmet case, not a spacecraft case; the exterior does not define its clear receiving space. |
| CubeBuff set-family guide | Separate open-stand routes for 75211, 75300, 75101, 75179 and 75242. | A stand presentation does not establish a surrounding case's cavity or support interchangeability. |
| Brickcessories Star Wars catalogue, page 2 | Mixed cases and stands, including stand cards for 75393, 30685 and 75382. | Keep the actual card type and set. A stand card is not evidence that a closing surround is supplied. |
Different size definitions prevent a simple smallest-to-largest ranking. The 75095 and helmet figures above are external; 75101 has separately labelled inside and outside dimensions. Compare clear receiving geometry for fit and the complete external base for furniture placement, without treating either as the other.
List the ship support, figure positions and plaque separately
Wicked Brick describes cross-braced stems and two hooks below the 75095 model, together with minifigure studs and an information plaque. That support belongs to its exact package. The original LEGO stand is another construction; the shared set number alone does not make those support arrangements interchangeable.
iDisplayit's 75101 page describes an eight-screw flat-packed surround, separate lid and black or white base. Its listed contents identify the case, instructions and fittings. Do not add an assumed flight stand to that order because another source includes one. Ask how your intended supported model is received.
Keep any plaque support and character positions in their own fields. A case can reveal the spacecraft clearly while hiding a front caption below a wing panel. The figures seen in a gallery scene also need not match the figures included in the LEGO set or supplied with the empty display product.

Check the cockpit view between the complete wing panels
Choose the desired viewing direction before committing to the shelf position. The cockpit and supporting structure can disappear behind the panels from a side view. Use the intended complete arrangement to assess the view; do not rotate a mounted ship beyond its support instructions to imitate a different gallery angle.
The cover photograph comes from the user-authorized CubeBuff gallery and shows 75211 on an open stand. It illustrates the panel, cockpit and base relationship. It is not a photograph of the 75095 enclosure, the 75101 case above or the 75274 helmet, and it does not establish another product's included figures.
Separate the static scene from feature use. If you want access to 75095's top hatch, establish where that operation takes place and how the support remains in its intended arrangement. A surrounding case that receives the closed model does not establish hand access above the hatch or permission to operate it under a partly raised cover.
For a lift-off surround, check clearance over the full supported model and a resting place for the removed enclosure. For a separate lid, follow that product's actual sequence. The LEGO shelf case guide covers the additional furniture and cover-access task.
Keep the final case and support package in one record
Use the TIE ship, helmet and support worksheet to record the exact build, original or supplier support, all labels and figures, cavity and exterior base. Preserve the maker's axis labels and units instead of swapping a ship dimension into the helmet's orientation.
A focused enquiry is: “For set [number], shown in this complete supported configuration, please confirm the supplied supports, usable interior, external size including base and prescribed removal route. Does the case include a ship stand, or should my existing support remain? Where should the hatch or other feature be operated?”
Keep unresolved answers visible before choosing a rear print or scene. A backdrop preference cannot resolve a missing support specification. Both the exact purchase contents and the complete supported outline need to agree with the arrangement you intend to display.
Common questions
Will a case called TIE Fighter fit every TIE build?
The shared family name does not establish that. Match the exact set, object type and support package, then compare labelled receiving geometry.
Does the 75274 helmet case receive a spacecraft?
Its cited product identity is the pilot helmet. It does not establish suitability for 75095, 75101 or another ship.
Is a stand enough if I want an enclosed display?
A stand addresses the support arrangement. A separate enclosure still needs its own compatible receiving size, base and opening route.
About this guide: Source-led format comparison, an authorized open-stand photograph and an original diagram. No LEGO build, support, hatch clearance or enclosure fit was physically tested.
