LEGO Thor's Hammer Display Cases: 76209 Base and Hidden Models

Plan a Thor’s Hammer 76209 case with the stand, Thor and three hidden models. Compare interior and exterior sizes, base details and opening access.

LEGO Thor's Hammer Display Cases: 76209 Base and Hidden Models

Plan a LEGO Thor’s Hammer display case around the complete 76209 model on its stand, then choose where Thor and the three small hidden models will sit. Keeping them inside the hammer and displaying them separately create different scenes. Compare that scene with a confirmed interior, rather than choosing a box from the hammer’s height alone.

Record the stand and nameplate with the hammer

LEGO’s official 76209 specification describes a hammer resting on a stand with a Mjölnir and Infinity Saga information plate. Its size reference is over 46 cm high and 29 cm wide; the cited size line supplies no depth.

The set also includes Thor and small models of the Infinity Gauntlet, Tesseract and Odin’s Fire. An opening element in the hammer’s head reveals their storage space. Keep these small accessories distinct from the separately sold, full-size Infinity Gauntlet 76191.

Record the complete supported model from front and side, including the actual stand, handle and plate. Do not fill the missing depth with a case’s width or assume that a different Marvel display’s support package applies to this one.

Choose which small models remain stored and which become foreground pieces

A case photograph may show the small gauntlet but leave the other two models inside the hammer. Decide what you actually want to retain in view. Do not treat an apparently empty floor corner as a dedicated holder supplied with every enclosure.

Check the nameplate from normal shelf height. The stand’s broad base, foreground accessories and case border can affect its visibility. A clear rear and a lightning print provide different backgrounds for that scene; neither decides how the small pieces are located.

Compare labelled interiors with interiors, and exteriors with furniture

The records below were reviewed on 18 October 2026. The available shopPOPdisplays record reported a crawl age of 1.1 years, so its dimensions and construction choices need current confirmation. This is a published-source comparison without physical fitting or protection testing.

iDisplayitInside L32 × W32 × H52 cm; outside L34 × W34 × H53 cm.Complete original stand and selected accessory scene.

Keep FantasMall’s rounded metric and inch sequences with their original labels. Its generic FAQ gives approximate internal-to-external increases; those do not supply a precise exterior drawing for the selected order.

Similarly, Brickcessories’ 500 mm assembled value should not silently become 500 mm of clear height. An exterior height minus LEGO’s qualified model reference is not a measured working gap above the finished base.

Base layers, stand inclusion and rear-panel colours are separate fields

Wicked Brick describes a two-tier 10 mm magnetic base with embedded studs, alongside a 5 mm base-material line. Ask for the actual receiving surface and supplied locating parts. The magnetic connection concerns the base construction; it does not establish a magnetic attachment to the hammer.

Brickcessories offers clear or black rear panels, while iDisplayit offers black or white bases. Those colours refer to different parts. Keep the rear treatment and floor choice on separate lines instead of comparing them as one universal colour option.

The older shopPOPdisplays record distinguishes ready-to-assemble and permanently assembled construction, with clear, predesigned or custom printed rear choices. Reconfirm the current product and opening method. Do not borrow a clear stand inclusion from another shopPOPdisplays model’s package.

Open the enclosure before planning access to the head

Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround from grooves in the base. Identify its route past the complete hammer and somewhere for it to rest. For another maker, obtain its own intended opening routine; assembly screws do not identify a regular access door.

Original planning illustration with invented task cards. No actual hammer compartment, opening direction, stand contact or measured fit is depicted.

Then follow the model instructions for reaching the hidden models. A closed hammer fitting inside a case does not establish the room to operate its head feature there. Record a changed scene if the extras move outside.

Use the 76209 stand and hidden-model worksheet with the measurement guide and LEGO shelf-case guide.

Common questions

Does the included gauntlet need a full-size gauntlet case?

The official 76209 description identifies a small-scale accessory. Keep it distinct from model 76191 and record its actual place in the hammer scene.

Is the official height enough to choose an enclosure?

Record the whole stand-supported outline, depth and accessories, then compare with the selected case’s labelled clear interior.
