Choose a LEGO Star Destroyer display case by exact set and supported arrangement. The large Imperial Star Destroyer 75252, Super Star Destroyer 10221 and smaller Imperial Star Destroyer 75394 are different builds. A custom flight stand, an existing model support and an enclosure sold without a stand must be compared as distinct packages.
Imperial and Super Star Destroyer are separate searches for fit
Use the set number from your collection record or instructions. The ship name, an imposing triangular outline or a UCS label does not supply the physical size or support configuration. A case listed for 10221 is not evidence for 75252.
| Set | Published reference | Arrangement to record |
|---|---|---|
| 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer | LEGO states over H44 × L110 × W66 cm on its display stand; over H37 cm without the stand. | Actual support, hull orientation, Tantive IV, plaque and figures. |
| 10221 Super Star Destroyer | The cited iDisplayit case expressly identifies 10221 and excludes the model and stand. | Existing support version, full long-hull outline and the receiving space for that combination. |
| 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer | LEGO states over H16 × L46 × D29 cm, with a lift-off top and foldout side panels. | Supported scene, closed or open panel state and access to the interior. |
The official 75252 reference describes the stand, information plaque, two figures and an attachable small Tantive IV. Keep that companion ship in the same outline record rather than treating the principal hull alone as the display.
The official 75394 reference describes a foldout carry handle and opening panels for play access. These are model features. They do not establish access beneath a case cover or permission to move an enclosure with the model inside.
Identify the support before comparing depth or height
A ship on a replacement stem can occupy a different outline from the same ship on its existing support. Record the exact support maker and version, whether it is included and any model preparation required by its instructions.
The Wicked Brick 75252 case describes a custom stand and gives W115 × D61 × H62.3 cm. Its size line is not labelled inside or outside and does not state the support angle.
LEGO's original supported model reference is 66 cm wide, while this case description has a 61 cm depth line. Those numbers refer to different arrangements and definitions. They do not prove that the original stance fits, that a particular tilt is intended or that the case is incorrectly sized. Obtain the complete model outline on the supplied stand and the actual receiving cavity.
Keep the plaque and smaller models in the support plan. A cutout or included stand establishes an intended arrangement; it does not permit moving a contact point to make a different scene fit.
Keep the package and dimension labels beside every size
These maker descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. They are specifications with their original limits, not physical compatibility tests, a product ranking or equivalent measurements for one ship.
| Case | Published size | Support and receiving question |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 75252 | W115 × D61 × H62.3 cm; inside/outside not stated. | Custom stand described. Confirm the supported pose and clear cavity, rather than importing the original stand outline. |
| shopPOPdisplays P_20007 | Approximately external including base H20.2 × W46 × D29.5 in. | A clear acrylic display stand and figure studs are described. Request its exact pose and usable receiving space. |
| iDisplayit 10221 | Inside L130 × W39 × H30 cm; outside L132 × W41 × H31 cm. | Model and stand explicitly excluded. Check your identified supported model, not another maker's included stem. |
| Kingdom Brick Supply 75394 | Approximate inside L52.0 × W32.8 × H23.2 cm; outside L53.5 × W34.3 × H24.1 cm. | Flight-display stand included. Its angle is not specified; confirm the whole scene and chosen panel states. |
shopPOPdisplays expressly includes the base in its external figures. They do not reveal clear height around the stand or the opening above the command tower. Its ready-to-assemble package and stand description are separate facts from its cavity.
iDisplayit's much longer enclosure belongs to 10221. A similar ship label does not make its long, narrow receiving shape the right choice for the wider 75252 scene. It also must not be treated as a stand bundle when the description excludes that component.
Kingdom Brick Supply supplies a stand for 75394 and lists a 64 × 40 stud reference. Keep that as the maker's base reference, not a replacement for the full supported outline or admission opening. Its description says the case is not designed to be relocated with the set inside.
Do not use a title to repair contradictory product copy
The Flying Box page titled for 75394 contains description text naming 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea. The page also supplies precise case and base size lines, but their presence does not resolve the identity mismatch.
Ask the supplier to confirm the actual product, compatible set and intended arrangement. This guide does not use those numbers as established 75394 fit evidence or silently replace the conflicting text. A useful comparison can identify missing confirmation without pretending the uncertainty is a tested result.
Apply the same check to backgrounds. A printed battle scene can match the ship's theme while still leaving the stem version or model position unspecified. UV printing describes a production process, not an independently verified protection level for the finished enclosure.

Plan the long cover and the model's opening separately
For 75394, decide whether its side panels stay closed or form a defined open display. A static panel state differs from the full sweep needed to open it. Establish normal access before reaching for the carry handle or lifting the model's top.
For a long 10221 enclosure, iDisplayit describes a secured top and a surround that lifts from the base. It recommends two-person assembly because of the length and says the case is not for relocation with LEGO inside. Obtain the actual instructions rather than translating the assembly recommendation into an improvised lifting method.
shopPOPdisplays also recommends two-person assembly for its 75252 product. That does not make its panel construction, support contact points or opening procedure interchangeable with another brand's.
Reserve the complete finished footprint and a place for the removed cover. A case can fit a cabinet or table when closed while leaving no practical route past the bridge, hull ends or surrounding shelves.
Use the blank Star Destroyer comparison worksheet for exact identity, stand inclusion, full pose, companions and dimension definitions. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers the separate furniture/access decision, while the measurement guide covers recording the complete occupied outline.
Common questions
Does UCS identify one Star Destroyer case size?
No. Confirm the exact set and supported arrangement; 75252 and 10221 have separately identified products and receiving shapes.
Is the flight stand always included?
Check the package. Some cited descriptions include a custom support, while the cited 10221 listing explicitly excludes the stand.
Can I compare clear height using the model's original stand?
Only when that is the intended support configuration. A replacement stem can change the complete outline, and an external size line does not establish clear interior height.
