LEGO Sonic Green Hill Zone Cases: 21331 Layout and Spring Access

Choose a LEGO Sonic Green Hill Zone display case for the actual 21331 level arrangement, characters, Eggmobile and separate Sonic and Chaos Emerald stand. Decide whether the scene stays fixed or the spring will be demonstrated after opening. A case named Green Hill Zone does not establish space for an expanded level or a jump under a closed cover.

The level and its separate display stand need one complete outline

LEGO’s official 21331 specification identifies the palm tree, loop, lever-activated spring, rings and buildable TVs. It includes Sonic, brick-built Dr. Eggman with an Eggmobile, Moto Bug and Crabmeat, plus a stand for Sonic and seven Chaos Emeralds. Record where these objects actually sit; the long level is not the entire receiving brief by itself.

The descriptive Green Hill Zone reference is over H17 × W36 × D6 cm. LEGO also says the level can be rearranged and connected to extra sets. That reference does not measure every alternate layout, an enlarged scene or the trajectory of a spring demonstration. Use the metric reference together rather than deriving precision from the rounded inch widget.

Keep 21331 explicit when contacting a supplier. Other Sonic sets, custom expansions and a wall-mounted display for the same theme are different products. Similar character names or scenery do not establish the same base locations, exterior dimensions or opening routine.

Retain each source’s inside or outside definition

These five original product descriptions were read on 19 October 2026. One exposes an explicitly external 13 cm height; another has mostly generic FAQ copy. Keep those limits visible. The table is a source comparison, not a ranking or a physical fit test.

Published dimensions for cases naming Sonic 21331
Exact sourcePublished figuresReceiving information still needed
Wicked Brick tabletop caseExternal W47 × D15 × H19.3 cm.Clear cavity above its located base and the intended complete scene.

Blacked BrickExternal W50 × D16 × H13 cm.Confirmation against the assembled scene and the model’s published height reference.
Brick In ItProduct W48 × D14 × H20 cm.Whether those axes describe the cavity or exterior, and the normal opening.

An assembled or product dimension is not automatically an inside dimension. Do not subtract panel thicknesses to create an interior, or subtract the official model height from an external case height and call the result spare clearance. Neither calculation establishes the finished receiving space.

ICUANUTY’s page names 21331 but its FAQ also discusses F1 products, wall mounting and stacking. Those general answers are not a Sonic-specific load rating or an instruction for an opening panel. Ask for the selected tabletop case’s own drawing and instructions before comparing it as a measured alternative.

Ask about the published 13 cm exterior before ordering

Blacked Brick’s external H13 cm line differs from LEGO’s descriptive over-H17 cm model reference. Preserve that discrepancy in the enquiry. The set name and a product photograph do not explain it, and the figures do not establish a documented alternate pose.

Send the supplier the exact assembled scene, including its highest part, and ask them to confirm the current case specification and intended arrangement. Do not silently change 13 to 19 or 23 cm, remove a scene component to make the numbers agree, or declare tested compatibility from the title.

The same discipline applies to every row. A larger advertised exterior does not establish an arbitrarily positioned Eggmobile, a different palm-tree arrangement or room for a hand above the spring. The receiving drawing and complete scene resolve different questions from the outside footprint.

Settle the figures and Emerald stand before adding an extension

Choose whether Sonic sits on the Emerald stand or in the level scene. Keep the stand and all retained characters in the layout record. An information plaque supplied with an enclosure is another object; it is not the model’s Emerald stand.

Ask whether the supplied base locates the level and figures in fixed positions. Wicked Brick and Blacked Brick both describe embedded studs, but that does not establish interchangeable stud patterns or freely movable receivers. A backdrop also does not determine the foreground figure positions.

For an extended level, measure the actual completed arrangement and name every added set or custom section. Joining two sections does not justify simply doubling a published width: connections, overlap, orientation and separate characters still need recording. Treat the enlarged scene as a custom receiving task, even if the enclosure title names 21331.

A fixed scene and a spring demonstration are different tasks

Record the presentation and handling routine separately

Stationary displayFinal level layout, figures, Eggmobile, stand and projections.Receiving cavity and intended base locations.
Spring demonstrationThe actual lever approach and model handling instructions.Which enclosure parts open before the demonstration.

Invented scene and handling concepts. Not LEGO 21331 spring geometry, an actual jump path, a case door design or a tested expanded layout.

For demonstrations, follow the actual model instructions and identify where the model will be handled. A lever-activated feature does not establish safe or convenient operation inside an enclosure. Keep the decision to open or retrieve the scene explicit instead of inventing a minimum jump allowance.

Confirm ordinary opening with the exact rear and base

Wicked Brick expressly describes lifting the clear surround from its base and returning it to grooves. Its two-tier 10 mm base is magnetically joined; that wording does not mean the LEGO model is held by magnets. Reserve a resting place for the surround before reaching the narrow level.

Brickcessories describes aluminum brackets and screws, while Brick In It describes metal corner cubes. Assembly fittings do not identify a routine front door. Obtain the selected case’s opening instructions and keep the clear or printed rear with the same confirmed base specification.

Use the 21331 level, figures and spring-access worksheet. The measurement guide covers the complete scene; the LEGO shelf-case guide covers the confirmed exterior at its eventual location.
