Choose a LEGO Razor Crest display case by exact set number and supported arrangement. The large UCS 75331 and smaller 75447 need separate receiving specifications. Then keep the selected flight stand, crew layout and access to engines, cockpit or ramps with that set record.
A case built around a stated 45-degree presentation is not interchangeable with a 10-degree stand bundle or a flat-base enclosure. Published exterior dimensions alone cannot tell you how the original model or your existing support will fit.
The ship name does not identify one receiving size
LEGO’s official 75331 description gives an original model reference of over H24 × L72 × W50 cm. It describes removable engines and cockpit, side hatches, a detachable escape pod and a separate display stand for the characters and information plaque.
The official 75447 description gives over H13 × L32 × W24 cm. Its canopy lifts off, side panels open and landing ramps fold down; the set also includes a separate Sentry E-Web build.
These are published model references, not full envelopes on aftermarket flight stands or dimensions for every open-part state. A character display stand is also a different component from the support that holds the ship at an angle.
If you own another Razor Crest set, retain that number rather than importing a 75331 or 75447 specification. A themed background, a familiar engine shape or the same spacecraft name is not evidence of compatibility.
Read the dimensions with the supplied arrangement
These five product descriptions were read in October 2026. The entries are attributed specifications with their original limits. They do not form a tested ranking, and their angles do not establish a shared measurement axis or comparable clearance.
| Exact listing | Published size | Configuration to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 75331 | External W76 × D46 × H43.3 cm. | 45-degree presentation, two stems and crossbar; plaque/character-stand cutout. |
| Flying Box 75447 | Case L14.25 × W11.75 × H6.5 in; base 14.75 × 12.25 in. | Flat, stud-free base; case figures not labelled inside/outside. |
| Brickcessories 75331 | Assembled 750 × 540 × 360 mm. | Integrated 10-degree stand; tuple axes and inside/outside not named. |
| iDisplayit 75331 | Inside L78 × W47 × H43 cm; outside L80 × W49 × H44 cm. | Angled stand included; angle not stated in the read description. |
| Elevenmark Premium 75331 | L78 × W46 × H48 cm. | Set-specific bracket and reversible mirrored/printed base; inside/outside not stated. |
LEGO’s original 75331 width of 50 cm and a case’s external depth of 46 cm describe different arrangements and axes. They do not prove that the original stance fits, that the listing is wrong or that a particular rotation will make it work. Ask for the complete ship-on-supplied-support outline and clear cavity.
Keep the separate Flying Box case and base lines together. The larger base footprint matters on the furniture, while its size alone does not establish usable height. It is expressly a 75447 listing, not a smaller-footprint alternative for the UCS model.
A support photograph is not an enclosure specification
Identify the support by maker, version and intended set. If you already own one, obtain confirmation for that exact support-and-case combination. A case designed around its own stems or bracket does not automatically accept another maker’s stand.
The 10-degree and 45-degree descriptions belong to their respective products. Do not calculate a replacement case using those angles alone: the reference axis, contact geometry and complete supported outline must be known. An unspecified angle also must not be filled in from a different supplier’s photograph.
Background and base choices deserve a separate check. A clear rear permits a view that a printed rear replaces. A reversible mirrored/printed base describes two presentation faces, not extra receiving space. Decide which side and crew arrangement you want before confirming the complete scene.
Give removable engines and cockpit their own access plan
For 75331, decide whether the engines, cockpit and escape pod stay installed in the normal closed display. If you want to show the interior, record exactly which assemblies are removed and where they will be supported. The outer ship’s original reference dimensions do not include a separate arrangement of those parts.
Distinguish a static open scene from the movement needed to create it. A hatch may remain within a chosen arrangement when open, yet require more room during its sweep. A removable engine needs an appropriate handling route after the case is accessible, not simply a space somewhere under the cover.
For 75447, record canopy, side-panel and landing-ramp states. Decide whether the Sentry E-Web and other separate pieces join the display or stay elsewhere. The case’s named set compatibility does not establish every possible play arrangement.
Wicked Brick describes a surround that lifts from the base; iDisplayit also describes a removable surround and says its case is not designed to be relocated with LEGO inside. Plan access at the installed location using each product’s instructions. Do not treat a removable cover as a transport handle or move a loaded case on the strength of its photograph.
Keep ship, crew, plaque and cover route together
Place the character stand and plaque before approving the receiving space. A designed cutout establishes an intended position; it does not confirm room for extra figures, a different plaque support or an expanded diorama.
Reserve the whole exterior base footprint and the cover’s prescribed removal route. Keep a suitable resting place for the removed surround and any assemblies you intend to take off. A shelf can receive the closed case while leaving the engine or cover inaccessible beneath the shelf above it.
The blank Razor Crest configuration record keeps the set, stand, dimension definitions, part states and package contents together. Use the LEGO shelf-case guide for furniture and access planning, and the collection measurement guide for the complete supported outline.
Common questions
Does a case for 75331 also fit 75447?
Keep the exact set and intended arrangement with the supplier’s compatibility statement. More apparent space does not establish suitable support, positions or access for a different model.
Is the lowest-angle stand the shallowest option?
The quoted angles alone cannot answer that. Compare confirmed exterior footprints for complete compatible configurations, retaining the actual axis and cavity definitions.
Were these dimensions or supports independently tested?
No physical fit, support loading or protective performance was tested by DisplayCasePro. The comparison preserves published specifications and identifies the confirmation each leaves open.
