LEGO Harley-Davidson Display Cases: 10269 Lean and Access

Compare Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 10269 cases for the kickstand, display support and handlebar position. Check front-opening versus lift-away access and size labels.

LEGO Harley-Davidson Display Cases: 10269 Lean and Access

Choose a LEGO Harley-Davidson Fat Boy 10269 display case around the bike’s actual support and lean, then decide how you will reach it. The sampled options include lift-away covers, a front-opening case and flat-packed enclosures with different size definitions. An open display stand is a separate component, even when its product photograph looks like a finished display.

Set the lean and handlebars before comparing boxes

The official LEGO 10269 description gives a model over H20 × W18 × L33 cm. It identifies a kickstand and a display stand, handlebar steering, adjustable mirrors and a rear wheel that drives the engine pistons. That reference does not identify the complete outline of every leaning or supported arrangement.

Decide which side of the engine and exhaust you want facing the room. Settle the handlebars and mirrors in the intended position, identify the support and record the whole bike in that state. A case’s fit statement should refer to this arrangement, rather than a motorcycle balanced differently for a photograph.

Also decide whether the rear-wheel feature is something you will demonstrate occasionally. A support suitable for a resting display does not establish that the wheel can be turned freely, or that a hand can reach it inside the enclosure. Keep demonstration access separate from the static outline.

Five descriptions use three different size boundaries

These original product pages were read on 18 October 2026. The figures below retain their published definitions. DisplayCasePro has not physically fitted the cases, tested the supports or measured dust and UV performance.

Wicked BrickExternal W40 × D25 × H25.5 cm.Actual leaning support and interior; lift-away cover returns to base grooves.
FantasMall40 × 20 × 25 cm; FAQ calls the size internal, axes unlabelled. One labelled drawing, selected rear panel and complete outside footprint.
iDisplayitInside L39 × W21 × H24 cm; outside L41 × W23 × H25 cm.Chosen bike support, steering state and routine opening instructions.
J.WOO DesignL40 × W28 × H25 cm; inside/outside unlabelled.Magnetic front opening, clear entry aperture and receiving floor.
SonglectionAssembled inside W40 × D20 × H25 cm.10 mm WPC base, intended bike position and opening method.

Wicked Brick’s 25.5 cm external height and iDisplayit’s 24 cm internal height describe different boundaries. Their difference is not a usable allowance for the handlebars. J.WOO’s 28 cm width also needs its own definition before it can be compared with a labelled cavity.

FantasMall additionally prints 16 × 8 × 10 inches; Songlection prints 15.6 × 7.8 × 9.8 inches beside its centimetre figures. Retain the source’s units and ask for a confirmed drawing for a close fit. Those rounded alternatives are not exact conversions. FantasMall’s general outside-offset guidance does not replace an exterior drawing for the selected case.

A support’s own dimensions do not describe another case

Keep the supporting parts and the supported motorcycle together in the fit record. Changing from a kickstand pose to an upright or raised presentation can change both the contact arrangement and the occupied outline.

Three support records to distinguish
ArrangementWhat is establishedWhat still needs checking
LEGO kickstandThe official model description identifies the component.Your settled lean, steering and complete supported outline.
LEGO display standThe official set description separately identifies a stand. The actual stand state intended by the selected enclosure.
CubeBuff open standSupplier lists stand-only W34 × D20 × H2.5 cm; with collectible W34.5 × D20 × H20 cm.Explicit enclosure compatibility; these are this supplier’s references, not our measurements.

Authorized CubeBuff 10269 open-stand photograph, whole composition retained. This item expressly excludes an enclosure and separate information plaque. It does not demonstrate a measured lean, operating clearance or another supplier’s fit; model markings remain intact.

Wicked Brick uses angled-presentation wording and describes a magnetic two-tier base. The read description does not provide a numerical leaning angle or bike-contact map. The base connection is not a claim that the motorcycle itself is held by magnets.

Compare front access with removing the surround

J.WOO describes a preassembled, magnetic front-opening case. This can suit a different access routine from Wicked Brick’s lift-away surround, particularly when the location restricts overhead movement. Confirm the actual front aperture, opening path and model-removal sequence; the overall L40 × W28 × H25 cm line does not supply those dimensions.

For a lift-away case, reserve a route past the mirrors and a place for the removed section. For either construction, establish access before turning the wheel or changing the bike’s pose. A case arriving as an assembly kit does not automatically have a front panel intended for daily removal.

Choose the rear treatment with the viewing side. J.WOO describes a layered themed rear and wood-effect floor. FantasMall says its background versions use a non-removable painted rear. Songlection describes lighting among DIY possibilities, which does not establish an included lighting kit. Keep the selected components on the order record.

Ask about one complete Fat Boy arrangement

Use the Fat Boy support and access worksheet to retain the exact set, stand, lean, handlebars, mirrors, plaque and rear choice. Request a labelled receiving cavity above the finished floor and the full outer base before approving the location.

The LEGO shelf-case guide covers the surrounding furniture, while the measurement guide helps record the complete occupied outline.

Common questions

Does the official 20 cm height prove fit on an added stand?

It does not identify every supported pose. Confirm the actual support and complete outline with the selected case’s receiving dimensions.

Does a front-opening case remove the need for access planning?

The opening still needs to clear the bike and provide a workable route. Ask for the actual aperture and instructions rather than treating overall case width as clear entry width.
