LEGO Globe Display Cases: 21332 Axis, Base and Rotation

Compare five LEGO Globe cases for 21332. Check the complete frame and base, published interior sizes, rotation access and an unresolved height specification.

LEGO Globe Display Cases: 21332 Axis, Base and Rotation

Select a LEGO Globe display case for the complete 21332 assembly: sphere, tilted axis, frame, base and decorative details. Decide whether it will remain in one viewing position or be opened for rotation. The sphere's diameter, the whole model's outline and the space needed to reach it are separate measurements.

Start with the frame and base as well as the sphere

LEGO's The Globe 21332 description identifies a brick-built sphere rotating on a Technic axis, decorative ship and compass icons, and a nameplate on the base. Its descriptive model reference is over H40 × W30 × D26 cm.

Keep the complete-model reference together. It is not a sphere-diameter specification, and it does not describe your hand's approach or a customized build. The page's rounded inch widget should not be mixed with the descriptive dimensions to claim a more exact fit.

Identify the furthest point in every direction with the globe on its intended support. The frame or base can define a different boundary from the sphere. Include decorative projections and the nameplate instead of treating an apparently open corner of the case as automatically available.

The relevant object here is the brick-built set 21332. A case for a glass snow globe, a geographical globe from another maker or original LEGO packaging receives a different object. Keep that identity in any supplier request so that a shared word does not become a compatibility claim.

A view through clear panels is different from access for rotation

Choose the face you usually want visible from the room. Record the globe's orientation and whether you want to change it often. A fixed display can be planned around one scene; a regularly handled globe needs a practical opening routine as well.

Questions for the complete globe and its ordinary use
Display taskWhat to recordWhat a closed size does not establish
Show one orientationThe full supported outline, visible land area and readable nameplate.Clearance for a hand or a changed decorative arrangement.
Rotate the sphereIntended movement, projecting details and the actual approach to the globe. An accessible opening or approval to turn the model against a panel.
View from several sidesWhich sides remain visible at the chosen room location. That an optional printed back can be removed later.
View decorated tiles in low lightThe desired viewing scene and any separately selected lighting hardware.A case lighting kit, measured afterglow duration or tested optical performance.

LEGO describes glow-in-the-dark decorated tiles. That feature belongs to the model. It does not mean a case includes illumination or that a dark background produces a measured improvement. Decide whether the important view is the sphere, the complete vintage-style stand or a specific group of labels.

For rotation, follow the actual model instructions and keep the cover clear of the intended action. Do not assume that a narrow gap beside the sphere is a useful hand opening. If the enclosure must be removed, plan that as the ordinary routine before choosing its location.

Compare clear interiors with clear interiors

These five descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. The table keeps explicit internal and external values separate, and leaves an unresolved source error unresolved. None of these dimensions was measured on a physical product for this guide.

Laser Frame 21332The dimension line reads “346mm L x mm 426cH x 306mm W”.A corrected height with unit, full axis definition and inside/outside boundary are needed.
FantasMall 2133235 × 35 × 45 cm sequence; Q&A labels the listed size internal. It also lists 14 × 14 × 18 in.Confirm the axes and actual selected base/background configuration; rounded unit versions are not separate precision measurements.

Do not compare Wicked Brick's 43.3 cm exterior directly with iDisplayit's 43 cm interior as a usable-height ranking. Their bases and measurement boundaries differ. Request the clear height above the actual receiving surface for the exact version you intend to order.

Similarly, Kingdom Brick Supply's separately stated 40 × 40-stud area is not a measurement of the tilted frame, rotating projections or a hand-access route. It belongs alongside the cavity dimensions, rather than replacing the complete model record.

Keep the Laser Frame height question visible

The Laser Frame line contains a misplaced unit and the characters “426cH”. It may be tempting to rewrite this into a familiar millimetre height, but the published text does not justify silently doing so. Ask the maker for a corrected drawing or dimension block before using that number for a close fit.

The same page describes a 5 mm black base, 3 mm clear sides and top, metal corner cubes and a click-and-fit system. Those material figures do not repair the height line or establish its interior. Its generic minifigure-stud wording also does not identify a locating connection for the globe's base.

Keep the original source text with the enquiry and record the maker's clarification separately if one is received. Until then, a set-specific title helps identify the product but leaves the measurement question open.

Record the whole supported object and its intended use. The invented globe is not a 21332 assembly, a numerical rotation envelope or proof of fit in a named case.

Keep the base, back panel and removal route together

Wicked Brick describes lifting its clear cover from the base and returning it to the grooves. Check the route past the highest frame point and a place for the removed cover. The description of a magnetic base is not a statement that the model itself is magnetically attached.

Choose a printed background only after deciding which views matter. FantasMall says the background on its background versions cannot be removed; keep that condition attached to that product. A clear-back display may suit another viewing arrangement, but the actual room and neighboring objects determine which sides you can see.

Use the blank Globe configuration and case worksheet for set identity, complete outline, displayed orientation, rotation access and unresolved specifications. The LEGO shelf display guide covers the complete enclosure's furniture placement. Kingdom Brick Supply says its cited globe case is not designed for relocation with the set inside.

Common questions

Can I order from the sphere's diameter?

Include the frame, base and decorative projections. The quoted official dimensions are for the model, not a bare sphere.

Can I spin the globe with the case closed?

No such access follows from a clear enclosure. Confirm the exact opening and intended handling routine with the supplier.

Should I treat the malformed height as 426 mm?

Obtain a corrected specification first. Do not turn a plausible reading into verified usable height.
