LEGO Endurance Display Cases: 10335 Masts, Timber Bases and Lifeboats

Compare LEGO Endurance 10335 cases for the complete masts and rigging. Keep inset timber, external oak bases, lifeboat scenes and cover access distinct.

LEGO Endurance Display Cases: 10335 Masts, Timber Bases and Lifeboats

Choose a LEGO Endurance display case around the complete 10335 ship, its masts, rigging and actual base. A timber platform placed inside the enclosure is a different height question from an external oak base. Keep that distinction with the selected case rather than treating every ship-shaped product as the same receiving space.

Keep the full masts, sails and stand in the record

LEGO’s official Endurance 10335 description identifies three masts, ten sails, rigging and a display stand. The model reference is over H47 × L80 × W24 cm. Removable deck sections expose interior details, the ship’s wheel operates the rudder, and four lifeboats detach from the ship.

Use that reference to identify the project, then record your actual completed model and stand. Include the highest mast or flag, the forward and rear projections and the widest retained sail or spar. The hull alone is not the receiving outline.

Choose the normal display state before comparing cases. If a detachable part stays beside the ship, give it its own position and appropriate support. Do not pull a line tighter, bend a mast or change a sail merely to match a preferred enclosure.

Separate the ship’s four boats from an added 40729 display

The four detachable lifeboats described by LEGO belong to the 10335 model. A case listing that names Shackleton’s Lifeboat 40729 introduces a separately identified addition. Those descriptions should occupy different lines in the scene inventory.

The iDisplayit description expressly says its case has room for 40729. Keep that claim with this product and the intended arrangement. It is not evidence that every 10335 case accepts the addition or includes the extra LEGO set.

Wicked Brick links a separate combined Endurance-and-40729 product among its options. The dimensions of the solo listing below should not be transferred to that separately linked product. Identify the actual page and selected package on the quotation.

Compare the labelled interior, whole exterior and base separately

These descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They retain each supplier’s measurement definitions and are not hands-on fit, support or preservation tests.

Blacked Brick oak versionExternal W85 × D30 × H48 cm.3 cm oak base; usable height above the actual floor.
iDisplayitInside L84 × W26 × H52 cm; outside L86 × W28 × H53 cm.Black, white or an additional 18 mm timber platform within the case.
Flying BoxCase L33 × W11 × H19.5 in; base 33.5 × 11.5 in.Case boundary unlabelled; larger complete base footprint.

Flying Box gives a larger base than its case sequence. Include that full base at the furniture location and obtain the actual receiving cavity independently. Acrylic sheet thickness does not establish all connector positions or usable inside height.

Brickcessories gives an assembled sequence with clear, black or printed rear options. Request axis labels and a clear interior drawing for the selected version. A listed construction bracket is not automatically a front panel intended for routine removal.

Ask where height begins for the selected base

iDisplayit says its 18 mm light-brown timber sits on top of the black base within the case. That means the timber is part of the occupied interior arrangement. Ask whether the quoted 52 cm inside height is measured above the black base or above the timber for the selected variant.

Do not automatically subtract 1.8 cm from the height and call the result a verified timber-version cavity. Equally, do not assume the displayed inside-height row already accounts for every base option. The source needs to identify the starting surface for the quotation.

Blacked Brick’s oak version describes a 3 cm base and 48 cm external height. The official model is over 47 cm high. Those lines do not demonstrate one centimetre of headroom: the case’s usable height above its actual floor remains missing.

Keep an inset platform, a whole external base and the model’s own stand distinct. A timber finish may change the view as well as the receiving datum, but its material name does not supply a load rating or a handling method.

Original conceptual case-height records distinguishing an inset timber platform from a complete external base
Invented ship and section. No LEGO geometry, rigging arrangement, actual timber joint, base dimensions, load capacity or tested headroom is shown.

Give deck access and the lifted cover separate routes

Decide whether the removable deck sections stay installed during everyday display. If you want to show the interior, identify where a removed section will rest after the enclosure is open. The model’s closed reference height does not establish room to lift that section under a cover.

Wicked Brick describes lifting the surround from grooves in its base. iDisplayit describes a top secured to the surrounding panels, with the complete cover lifted away. Reserve the actual route past the masts, sails and rigging, plus a suitable resting place for the removed cover.

Access to the wheel or rudder is another task to record if it matters to you. A transparent rear or a printed background changes what can be seen, not the amount of hand access demonstrated by the size line. Follow the actual model and case instructions for handling.

iDisplayit says the case is not designed to be relocated with the model inside. Plan the final location before assembling the populated display. Use the Endurance base and scene worksheet and the LEGO shelf case guide to keep the complete exterior and opening route together.

Common questions

Does a timber option always have the same usable height?

Obtain the height above the actual selected floor. The cited inset platform needs an explicit datum.

Are the four detachable boats the separately named 40729 model?

Keep the 10335 components and the separately identified addition distinct in the inventory and case enquiry.
