LEGO Deku Tree Display Cases: 77092 Builds and Scene Layouts

Choose a 77092 case for Ocarina of Time or Breath of the Wild. Compare wide and compact scenes, companion builds, labelled cavities and base-material questions.

LEGO Deku Tree Display Cases: 77092 Builds and Scene Layouts

Choose a LEGO Deku Tree display case for the version of 77092 you will build and the complete scene you want beside it. Ocarina of Time and Breath of the Wild are alternate builds, with different published heights. A wide, shallow arrangement and a compact grouping can also require very different case footprints.

Record the tree, companion builds, figures and plaque as separate parts of one layout. Then compare that layout with the maker's actual receiving definition. A product title saying “2-in-1” does not measure every arrangement or mean that one set provides two complete trees to display together.

One selected tree version comes before the case

LEGO's official 77092 description says to build one of two Great Deku Tree versions. It gives a height reference of over 33 cm for Ocarina of Time and over 31 cm for Breath of the Wild. It also identifies companion builds, posable facial features and accessible side panels.

Keep the version name with those references. They are tree-height descriptions, not the complete width and depth of your scene or a measured access gap inside a case. A later rebuild needs a new layout record rather than the assumption that only the tree's height changes.

If you intend to show two complete trees made from separately acquired sets or additional parts, state that explicitly. The standard alternate-build description should not become an assumed two-tree contents list or a guarantee that a named enclosure accepts the combined group.

Give the companion builds their own places on the plan

Start with a top-view map. Mark the tree's complete outline, then add each companion build you intend to retain, the figure positions and any supplied information plaque. Keep these shapes separate so none of the floor area is assigned twice.

Try two paper arrangements. In a wide composition, the companion pieces can be read beside the tree. In a compact composition, they may sit forward or to one side, provided their actual supports, visibility and retrieval remain suitable. These are layout questions, not instructions to move parts outside their intended construction.

Choose what the scene should reveal. A front view can make the face clear while hiding a smaller build behind the trunk. A slightly different furniture position may improve that view without altering the model. Keep the chosen front and side photographs with the case enquiry.

A shared set number does not make the size lines equivalent

These maker descriptions were read in October 2026. The dimensions are attributed specifications, not our measurements. Unlabelled boundaries remain unlabelled in the comparison.

Flying Box 77092Case L17 × W15.5 × H14.25 in; base 17.5 × 16 in.Case size is not labelled inside/outside. Both versions are named as compatible; the base is described without studs.
Kingdom Brick Supply 77092Approximate inside L42.4 × W39.2 × H36 cm; outside L43.9 × W40.7 × H36.9 cm.Clear cavity and exterior are separate. Compare the actual version and complete companion layout.
FantasMall 77092Internal L40 × W40 × H35 cm, also rounded as 16 × 16 × 14 in.The upgraded-base paragraph says solid wood; the Materials line says acrylic and PVC. Confirm the supplied version.

Brickcessories says Ocarina of Time will also fit its case, with more depth than needed. Keep that as the maker's compatibility statement for its intended arrangement, rather than proof that every customized scene fits. Ask it to confirm your actual tree and companion positions.

Likewise, Wicked Brick's much wider published format should prompt a layout question, not a claim that it contains two trees or offers a larger usable cavity on every axis. Its size block needs a receiving definition before it can be ranked against a labelled interior.

Resolve the supplied base before relying on interior height

FantasMall's upgraded wood-platform description and acrylic/PVC materials line do not identify one unambiguous base construction. Request the selected version's material, thickness and clear interior above the installed base. Do not silently choose the newer-sounding description or use a generic exterior allowance to resolve that conflict.

Keep the metric tuple and rounded inch tuple together as source descriptions rather than combining them into a more precise fit. The same listing describes background versions as not removable. Confirm the exact rear artwork and build version before choosing it; a later rebuild may change the desired view.

Flying Box explicitly describes no studs on the base. That does not establish an alternative retaining method or permission to relocate a loaded scene. Its separately listed base also exceeds the case's listed plan dimensions, so keep the complete base footprint in the furniture record.

Kingdom Brick Supply lists a 52 × 48-stud area and states that its case is not designed to be relocated with LEGO inside. Stud area is not the scene's upper outline or a handling instruction. Keep that product-specific limitation with the chosen arrangement.

Rebuilding and feature access need their own routine

Decide which facial feature or side panel you expect to reach, and where that access will happen. A final assembled tree that fits a closed display does not establish room for fingers beside a panel, a moving feature or a rebuilding task.

Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround from its base and returning it to the grooves. At the intended shelf, check that route past the whole tree and a resting place for the surround. For another maker, obtain its actual opening instructions instead of assuming an assembly seam is an access door.

Use the 77092 version and scene worksheet to retain the current build, component map, base version, size definitions and unresolved questions. After those are confirmed, the LEGO shelf case guide helps plan the finished enclosure's furniture position.

Common questions

Does 2-in-1 mean two complete trees in one set?

The official description specifies building one of two versions. Identify any separately acquired parts or second set if your intended display contains two complete trees.

Is the taller tree the only version that matters for sizing?

Record the selected version and the whole scene on every axis. Height alone does not describe companion placement, spread or access.

Can I treat the published case width as clear interior?

Only where that boundary is explicitly identified. Preserve an unclassified size as a question, even for a product named for 77092.
