Choose a LEGO Death Star display case by set number before comparing its size. The broad compartment scene of 75419 and the older 75159 or 10188 models appear together in search results. Raised plinths, legged enclosures and secured surrounds then add their own receiving boundaries and opening routines.
Keep the model number beside the room layout
LEGO’s official 75419 specification gives a model reference of over H70 × W79 × D27 cm. It describes detailed compartments, a working elevator, a retractable bridge and an Imperial Shuttle. Its character count separates thirty-six minifigures from two droid figures.
The older 75159 description gives over sixteen inches in height and width, without a depth in that line. It names rooms around the battle station, a moving launch rack and Vader’s TIE Advanced. Keep those original units and missing depth rather than turning the reference into a three-axis cube.

iDisplayit expressly lists its older enclosure for both 75159 and 10188. That statement belongs to that product. It does not make 10188 the same build as 75159 or establish that a case for either receives 75419.
Choose the compartment view before the background
Decide which rooms and characters you want to read from the normal seat or standing position. A foreground plaque or a separate figure row can interrupt a low view into the lowest compartment. Place those pieces on the scene plan before treating the empty floor as spare capacity.
For the older model, consider the views around it and the furniture’s approach from each side. A printed rear can strengthen one selected view while closing off another. For 75419, identify the main room-facing presentation and any scene additions separately from the quoted compact foundation.
The published model reference is a starting point for identification. Keep the actual chosen projections, supports and operating state with the case request. A closed display around a settled scene does not demonstrate the bridge or elevator’s working route.
Case interiors, plinths and legs describe different boundaries

Wicked Brick’s Limited Edition describes a 112 mm-tall printed base and support plinth, plus removable magnetic front and top panels. Confirm the finished receiving surface and the actual model-on-plinth outline. Subtracting that component from an unlabelled total height would not establish usable headroom.
Brickcessories labels inside and outside while leaving the tuple’s axes unnamed. Keep both sequences intact until a drawing identifies their direction. Its clear or space-printed rear is a visual option; assembly hardware does not specify routine opening.
Scobo’s Showcase bundle separates the full height with legs from the case height. Use the complete assembly for placement and obtain the clear receiving space independently. The legged configuration also needs its own documented installation and loading information.
A Death Star title does not repair ship-related copy
The sampled Blacked Brick 75159 page gives an external W50 × D47 × H46 cm line, but its feature text describes a bow keeping a ship angular and crew beneath the ship. Retain that inconsistency when requesting confirmation.
Ask for the correct 75159 product drawing and intended support. Do not use the ship wording as instructions to incline the battle station, or treat the external numbers as proof for an unidentified support arrangement.
Plan the opening around the actual scene
iDisplayit’s older-model case describes sixteen fittings and a top secured to the surround, which lifts from its base. It states that the case is not designed for relocation with LEGO inside. Choose its final furniture position and cover-resting place accordingly.
The magnetic front/top on the cited Wicked Brick Limited Edition provides a different access description. Confirm the selected edition and opening sequence, including how each removed panel clears figures and projecting details. Another regular or limited case needs its own record.
