LEGO Bumblebee Display Cases: 10338 Robot, Car and Group Displays

Choose a LEGO Bumblebee 10338 case for robot or car mode. Compare inside sizes, a four-set display and conflicting inch/mm dimensions before ordering.

LEGO Bumblebee Display Cases: 10338 Robot, Car and Group Displays

Choose a LEGO Bumblebee display case for a defined state of set 10338: robot or car, with the actual accessories and plaque. Then distinguish a solo case from a combined Transformers display. A product URL containing one set number can now describe several sets together.

10338 and the BrickHeadz sets are different objects

LEGO’s Icons Bumblebee 10338 is one model that converts between robot and vehicle. Its articulated joints, ion blaster, jetpack and information plaque affect the complete display arrangement.

The Bumblebee Robot & Vehicle 40804 BrickHeadz set instead supplies separate robot and car models on baseplates. Likewise, Optimus Prime Robot & Vehicle 40803 is a separate BrickHeadz pair. Neither set number describes the convertible Icons Bumblebee.

This distinction matters in the current Wicked Brick combined listing. Its URL ends in 40803, but the actual main description explicitly combines 10338, 10302, 40803 and 40804. Treat it as that four-set arrangement rather than a solo Bumblebee case or a case only for one BrickHeadz pair. Each BrickHeadz set has a separate robot and vehicle, so four set names do not mean four individual display objects.

Do not combine the car footprint with the robot height

LEGO’s descriptive references assign different dimensions to the two forms. Keep the state attached to each number; neither row supplies the complete occupied space for every accessory or pose.

Official 10338 reference states
StatePublished referenceStill record from your arrangement
RobotOver 25 cm high.Actual arm positions, held blaster, jetpack and plaque.
VehicleOver H8 × L22 × W11 cm.Converted car, retained accessories and their separate positions.

The car’s 22 cm length and 11 cm width do not become the robot’s footprint. Likewise, the robot’s reference height does not establish the height of a partly transformed model. Choose the state first and make front, side and overhead records of the complete scene.

Keep the unused blaster or other displayed parts in the inventory if they stay inside the case. A plaque placed beside the car can change the total width or depth even when it adds little height. A case chosen around the body alone may leave those parts without intended positions.

Compare the labelled cavities and the combined product separately

Wicked Brick, four-set groupW46 × D30 × H38.3 cm; boundary unlabelled.Current supplied positions for all four named sets.
iDisplayit, 10338Inside L18 × W18 × H30 cm; outside L20 × W20 × H31 cm.Intended state and actual arrangement on the square floor.
incasedisplays, 10338L × W × H: 8.75 × 6.75 × 11 in paired with 220 × 150 × 280 mm.Correct the inconsistent width and label the boundary.

iDisplayit’s square interior needs a state-specific enquiry. The official car length is over 22 cm, while each quoted floor axis is 18 cm. That is not a direct length-axis match. Do not infer a confirmed diagonal layout, remove parts or use the cover to force a different arrangement.

Kingdom Brick Supply supplies separate approximate inside and outside rows. Its 23.2 cm inside length should still be compared with the actual complete car scene, rather than subtracting 22 cm and calling the result guaranteed clearance. The LEGO reference says over 22 cm.

Brickcessories gives an assembled three-number sequence and describes room for poses. Request the axes and usable interior for your particular form. The assembled sequence does not itself identify every permitted arm position or rear jetpack projection.

Leave the inconsistent inch and millimetre width unresolved

The incasedisplays size line pairs a 6.75-inch width with 150 mm. Converting 6.75 inches gives 171.45 mm, so the two widths are not the same measurement. That arithmetic identifies a conflict; it does not identify which supplied figure is correct.

Request a current labelled drawing for the exact selected product, including inside dimensions and the whole magnetic-base exterior. Keep both published values in the enquiry. Choosing the wider number because it suits your model would turn an unresolved listing into a false fit claim.

The four-set case needs another kind of confirmation: its intended inventory and positions. A quad display title does not establish simultaneous robot and car versions of the same convertible 10338 model. Confirm which actual model occupies each supplied position.

Separate a resting display from conversion space

A static case accepting one form has not demonstrated room to convert the model under its cover. Choose where instructed transformation and accessory changes will happen after opening the enclosure as intended. Keep the plaque and loose parts out of that handling route.

iDisplayit describes assembling the clear panels, placing the lid and locating the surround on the base. Ask which part is intended to move for routine access in your selected version. A construction joint is not automatically a convenient access door.

Kingdom Brick Supply expressly says its case is not designed to be relocated with the LEGO set inside. Plan placement and handling accordingly; a fitted model and a joined acrylic box are not proof of a loaded transport assembly.

Use the Bumblebee mode and case worksheet to retain the exact set, form, accessories, dimensions and unit conflict. The LEGO shelf case guide covers the completed enclosure’s location. Background, dust and UV wording do not replace the missing receiving or operating dimensions.

Common questions

Does a 10338 title approve every robot pose and car arrangement?

Confirm the actual selected form and complete scene against that product’s receiving dimensions.

Which published width should I use when inches and millimetres disagree?

Keep the conflict open until the maker supplies a corrected labelled specification for the selected version.
