LEGO Batmobile Display Cases: Set Numbers, Stands and Scenes

Compare Batmobile cases for 76139, 76304, 76240 and 76328. Check stands, loaded dimensions, figures, cockpit or trunk states and the complete base footprint.

LEGO Batmobile Display Cases: Set Numbers, Stands and Scenes

Choose a LEGO Batmobile display case by exact set, then by the support and scene you want inside it. The 1989 car, Batman Forever car, Classic TV Series car and Tumbler do not share one outline. A rotating LEGO stand, a fixed aftermarket support and an open display stand also create different fit questions from the vehicle resting on its wheels.

A film or television name does not replace the set number

The Wicked Brick Batman category includes 76139, 76304, 76328, 76188, 76240 and 76023 products, as well as stands, aircraft and dual-model displays. This is a discovery page across different builds and formats, not a single compatibility list for one enclosure.

For the official 1989 Batmobile 76139, LEGO gives a reference over H12 × L60 × W22 cm. It describes a sliding cockpit and a rotating display stand. The bare model reference does not define the height on another support or the space swept by turning the whole vehicle.

The official Batman Forever 76304 is over H17 × L41 × W12 cm, with an opening cockpit, information plate and a Batman minifigure with its own stand. Its taller profile and separate display pieces need their own arrangement.

The official Classic TV Series 76328 is over H14 × L50 × W18 cm and has an opening trunk containing the Bat-Computer, plus an information plate and figure. A case for the separate 76188 Classic TV Series build cannot be selected using the shared theme name alone.

An open stand and a case are separate purchases

Batmobile display formats with different included components
FormatWhat it providesWhat to confirm
Case around an existing sceneAn enclosure for a documented car, support, plate and figure arrangement.Whether the original LEGO stand stays and whether any replacement support is included.
Open aftermarket standA defined car position and associated base, without an enclosing cover. Its actual loaded outline and the separate receiving dimensions if a case is added.
Case with a dedicated supportA combined enclosure and intended supported pose when explicitly supplied. The exact stand version, contact instructions and which moving-feature states are covered.
Dual-model enclosureSeparate assigned positions for the stated pair of builds. Both set numbers and the complete supplied layout; a large capacity label does not permit arbitrary extra cars.

An actual linked Wicked Brick 76139 page is titled Display Stand and describes an open support. Its URL contains “display-case”, but the title, contents and specifications identify the stand. Read the actual product rather than using the address as proof that a clear enclosure is included.

That page separates stand-only W42 × D30 × H12 cm from dimensions with the collectible W61 × D30 × H23.5 cm. The latter is the relevant published supported arrangement for a receiving-case question. The stand-only rectangle and the official car reference are not substitutes for it.

The description also identifies support hooks beneath the car. Follow the actual system instructions; this guide does not reconstruct their attachment or assign a numeric angle. A case advertised for a wheel-supported car needs separate confirmation before that support is added.

Compare size definitions only after matching the set

These descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. Each retains its maker's units and definitions. They are not product tests, a ranked buying list or verified fit for every cockpit, trunk or stand state.

iDisplayit 76304Inside L47 × W18 × H20 cm; outside L49 × W20 × H21 cm.Confirm the complete car, Batman stand and plate positions, with the chosen cockpit state.
BrickShell 76139H10 × W31 × D17 in; the line does not label inside/outside.Obtain usable cavity and intended support state. Snap-fit construction does not establish clearance for every rotating or raised stand.
Brickcessories 76240Inside 484 × 344 × 265.5 mm; outside 496 × 356 × 273 mm.The sequences identify inside/outside but not axes. Confirm the layout and exact supported Tumbler pose.
Flying Box 76328Case L21.5 × W8.5 × H8 in; separate base 22 × 9 in.The case line has no inside/outside label. Keep the larger base footprint and ask about trunk, plate and figure positions.

For iDisplayit, the labelled interior gives a receiving-space reference for 76304. Its stated base accommodates 58 × 22 studs, but a stud count does not define the complete height of a scene or the opening route around a tall rear feature.

For Brickcessories, preserve the two dimension sequences until the axes are confirmed. Do not label the third value clear height simply because that ordering seems familiar. Its explicit 76240 identity also must not be carried over to the separate 76023 Tumbler.

For BrickShell and Flying Box, an external-looking product size is still an unlabelled datum unless the maker defines it. Ask for the actual receiving surfaces instead of subtracting a panel thickness. The Flying Box base has its own dimensions and belongs in the furniture footprint.

Treat artwork, figures and the support as different choices

A Batcave image can establish a mood without locating the car. Keep the base/support version separate from the rear artwork and the minifigure group. A printed image of blue lighting is not documentation that a powered lighting kit is supplied.

BrickShell offers clear and printed-back versions for 76139. Brickcessories lists clear, black and printed choices for 76240. Those rear treatments do not, by themselves, establish a different cavity or an included angled support.

Keep each figure's intended view and information plate in the loaded outline. A separate figure plinth, the plate attached to a rotating stand and a supplier's etched plaque can occupy different places. Do not count every empty-looking corner as a documented position.

Original generic car diagram separating a bare vehicle, stand-only dimensions and the complete supported scene with a figure area
The receiving case needs the complete supported scene. Invented cars, hooks and figures are not actual LEGO geometry, a mounting instruction or a tested fit.

A static cockpit pose is not its whole movement

Choose whether the 76139 cockpit, 76304 cockpit or 76328 trunk remains open in the display. Confirm the outline of that exact state. Separately establish whether it can move through its full path without contacting the case or another display piece.

For a rotating stand, choose a settled display angle unless the supplier documents clearance for rotation inside that enclosure. Turning a long vehicle creates a different occupied area from simply viewing one side.

iDisplayit describes a secured lid and surround that sits over the base, and says its 76304 case is not designed for relocation with LEGO inside. Keep that restriction with this particular product. A stackable description on another page supplies no general loading or moving rule.

Use the blank Batmobile scene worksheet to record set, support, moving parts, figures, plate and missing definitions. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers receiving furniture; the collection measurement guide covers the complete occupied outline.

Common questions

Will a Classic TV Series case fit either LEGO version?

Check the set number. The 76188 and 76328 builds are separate products despite the shared television theme.

Does a stand listing include the clear case?

Read the actual package. A stand has its own loaded dimensions and does not become an enclosure because a link or category includes the word case.

Can the car rotate inside a case?

Only a confirmed receiving layout and movement allowance answer that question. A rotating stand supplied with the set does not establish space for every angle inside a particular cover.
