Choose a LEGO Atari display case for the complete 10306 arrangement: console, joystick, cartridges, holder and three game scenes. A broad, low layout, a raised scene shelf and an uncovered two-part stand organize those objects differently. Decide which arrangement you want to see before comparing case sizes.
The console reference leaves other objects to place
LEGO’s official 10306 specification describes the console, joystick, three cartridges, cartridge holder and three small scenes inspired by Asteroids, Adventure and Centipede. It also identifies a hidden 1980s room. The main console reference is over H8 × W33 × D22 cm, also given as over H3 × W13 × D8.5 in.
Keep that reference attached to the console. It does not describe the footprint of all three game scenes beside it, the joystick’s position or the opened hidden-room presentation. The page’s rounded dimensions widget is a separate display of the reference; mixing its inch values with the descriptive line adds no useful precision.
Give each cartridge a destination. A cartridge placed in the console occupies a different position from one in the holder. Showing all three covers separately can also change what is visible through the front panel. Use the actual built objects when recording the scene, including any retained leads and the minifigure’s chosen position.
A raised shelf and a wide floor solve different viewing problems
| Arrangement | Record together | Question for the display maker |
|---|---|---|
| One level | Console, joystick, cartridge holder and all three vignettes in their chosen positions. | Which objects sit beside or behind the console, and can their fronts still be seen? |
| Raised scenes | The three vignettes on the exact supplied shelf or plinth, plus the lower components. | What locates the scenes, and what is the complete height above the finished base? |
| Two-part open stand | Both stand sections and their intended supported objects. | What is the combined installed footprint and occupied outline if a separate cover is planned? |
A low case can use more floor area to separate the components. A taller presentation may place the small scenes above the console so their subjects remain visible. Neither choice follows from the console’s height alone. Consider the view from your normal chair or standing position: a scene behind the console can disappear when viewed low down.
When a product locates the components in cutouts or on studs, request its intended arrangement. Moving the joystick or cartridge holder into a seemingly empty corner may defeat that layout. An enclosure’s rectangular outside dimensions do not describe every usable position on its base.
Keep the shelf, support and measurement boundary with each listing
These descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They represent published product information, rather than DisplayCasePro assembly trials, protection tests or a ranked shopping list.
| Exact display | Published measurement or format | Clarify before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 10306 | External W52 × D36 × H28 cm; located lower components and a clear raised shelf. | Clear cavity and the intended hidden-room state. |
| ICUANUTY 10306 | Display Box L50 × W40 × H20 cm; integrated black base. | Inside/outside boundary and where all three scenes go. |
| iDisplayit 10306 | Inside L65 × W39 × H20 cm; outside L67 × W41 × H21 cm; scene plinth. | Plinth position, supported scene height and access routine. |
| Sonoran Display and Play 10306 | Open stand: cartridge side W13.5 × D11 × H11.5 in; console side W13.5 × D12.5 × H13.5 in. | Two section specifications; no combined case cavity is given. |
| Ecometa ALL-129-22 | External W60 × D35 × H15 cm; Plexiglas enclosure. | Selected base, complete scene layout and usable interior. |
Wicked Brick describes cutouts for the console, cartridge holder and joystick, plus an inset-stud shelf for the three game builds. Its surround lifts from the base. iDisplayit instead describes a plinth for the three scenes and provides labelled inside and outside dimensions. Keep each receiving arrangement with its own size lines.
Sonoran’s product is an uncovered support with two separately dimensioned sections. Adding their widths does not establish a complete display width: that still depends on their installed relationship and the supported objects. No enclosure is supplied by this stand listing.
Ecometa lists a 5 mm Plexiglas base and a conditional 19 mm Forex base. Resolve the selected configuration before asking for clear height. Subtracting every thickness shown on the page would invent a base assembly that may not belong to the order.
Choose whether the hidden room stays revealed
The hidden room adds a separate viewing and handling decision. Choose a settled console state for everyday display, then record the complete outline in that state. If you want to reveal it occasionally, establish which cover must be removed and where your hands approach before operating the model.
Changing a cartridge is another task. A shelf holding the three vignettes does not automatically leave a practical approach to the console slot or the cartridge holder. Ask about those movements individually; a product image showing every component at rest does not demonstrate their removal paths.

Turn missing dimensions into a precise enquiry
Send the maker your component list, selected room state, intended arrangement and receiving shelf measurements. Ask for the clear space above the finished base and any supplied shelf or plinth, with axes labelled. Keep the complete outside footprint separately for the furniture.
ICUANUTY’s page includes broad F1, wall-mounting and material-report language alongside the 10306 product. Those sections do not document an Atari wall attachment, a scene shelf or access to the hidden room. A referenced material report also does not establish a tested fade-prevention result for this complete display.
Use the Atari component, scene and access worksheet with the LEGO shelf case guide. Keep the five products’ different bases and arrangements separate when comparing the answers.
Common questions
Does the official console width cover the whole set?
No. The joystick, holder, cartridges and three game scenes need their own positions in the combined display outline.
Will a tall two-part stand fit inside a low Atari case?
The stand’s two section specifications are not its complete installed outline or a case interior. Obtain the supported arrangement and compare it with the exact receiving enclosure.
