Choose a LEGO AT-AT display case by the number on the set, then by the whole scene. UCS 75313 is a large, articulated walker; 75440 is a mid-scale display with a Snowspeeder and tow-cable scene. Matching the AT-AT name does not make their enclosures, base positions or access requirements interchangeable.
Keep UCS 75313 and mid-scale 75440 separate
Actual search results put cases for both models beside one another. Begin with the set number rather than a photograph of a four-legged walker. Another AT-AT playset or a custom scene needs its own compatibility record as well.
| Set | LEGO's descriptive metric reference | What the reference does not settle |
|---|---|---|
| AT-AT 75313 | Over H62 × L69 × W24 cm. Posable legs and head, removable body panels, figures, plaque and an E-Web blaster. | The complete footprint of your chosen stance and any separate display pieces. |
| AT-AT 75440 | The walker is over H17 × L19 × W11 cm. The set also has a Snowspeeder, tow cable and stand with nameplate. | The whole configured scene with the separate aircraft, cable route and supporting base. |
The 75440 wording describes the AT-AT, so keep that reference distinct from a measurement of every part of the finished scene. Equally, 75313's model size is not a drawing of every leg and head position. The case receives the intended assembled configuration, not just a named vehicle.
Check where the feet and scene pieces actually belong
For 75313, record the intended leg and head state following the model's instructions. A case with prescribed foot locations may depend on that arrangement. Do not alter the model's stance or use a case wall as a restraint simply to match an advertised footprint.
The Wicked Brick 75313 case describes a two-tier magnetic base with cutouts for the walker and E-Web blaster, plus minifigure studs and a plaque. Those are layout features to check against the scene you want, not spare positions for arbitrary additions.
Decide whether Luke will be shown with the cable, where the E-Web and figures will stand, and whether you want the interior visible. Record all intended pieces before approving the floor. A large empty-looking area in a photograph can be reserved for a foot, a plaque or the cover's seating line.
For 75440, include the Snowspeeder's position and the complete cable route. Its raised support and nameplate belong in the occupied outline. The smaller walker size alone cannot confirm that an enclosure receives the whole composition.
Compare current product descriptions without mixing their datums
The three UCS examples below are published specifications, not DisplayCasePro measurements or a ranking. Keep each maker's inside/outside definition and units with its figures.
| Case | Published information | Remaining question |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 75313 | External W76 × D42 × H65.3 cm. | Obtain the usable space above its two-tier floor and confirm the foot, E-Web and figure layout. |
| shopPOPdisplays P_20016 | Approximate external size including base H25.8 × W29.9 × D16.3 in. Description includes a clear display stand and figure studs. | Confirm what that stand supports, the complete installed scene and the clear internal dimensions. |
| Kingdom Brick Supply 75313 | Approximate inside L77.6 × W36.0 × H64.8 cm; outside L79.1 × W37.5 × H65.7 cm. Separate 96 × 44-stud statement. | Confirm the actual floor arrangement and supported outline. The stud count is not a substitute for clear dimensions or every stance. |
Do not compare an external height with another maker's internal height as if both describe room above the same floor. Two-tier bases, fittings and cover seating use different reference surfaces. Ask where the model rests and which surfaces define the quoted usable height.
The Brickcessories 75440 case is a separate product, SKU LDC153.01.BA01. It lists inside 234 × 144 × 190 mm and outside 246 × 156 × 197.5 mm. Those sequences have inside/outside labels but no explicit axis names in the dimension lines. Obtain a labelled drawing for the full mid-scale scene rather than transplanting them into a UCS comparison.
Keep the selected background with the order too. A Hoth print provides a preferred backdrop, while a clear rear can preserve another view. Neither choice determines the correct leg stance, makes the interior accessible or supplies a missing support specification.
A real review can flag access problems without becoming your fit test
The fifth eligible site in the sampled results was JimBricks' iDisplayit AT-AT case review. The author discloses that the maker supplied the case. It describes one particular reviewed configuration and illustrates why room above the case matters when positioning a tall surround over a model.
Use that as a question to resolve for your location, not a universal rule that every enclosure needs exactly twice its height. The review's dimensions, prints, assembly experience and placement are not current manufacturer specifications for all variants, and they are not tests performed by DisplayCasePro.
Obtain the current maker's opening instructions for the exact product you intend to buy. Do not copy the reviewer's furniture rearrangement as an installation or lifting method for your own loaded display.

Plan side-panel access and cover removal separately
For 75313, decide whether you want to look through the closed enclosure or regularly remove body panels to see the interior. The latter needs an actual hand approach and somewhere to receive the detached panels. A static fit around the closed walker does not establish that working space.
Wicked Brick describes a clear surround that lifts from its base. Check its route past the head and other projecting parts and the space above the finished display. Another maker's assembly method does not automatically identify its routine opening sequence.
Choose the permanent furniture position before populating the case. Kingdom Brick Supply expressly states that its case is not designed to be relocated with the LEGO set inside. Keep that restriction with the product record; secure-looking foot positions do not make the enclosure a loaded transport container.
Use the blank AT-AT scene worksheet for exact set, stance, cable/aircraft pieces, floor fittings, dimension definitions and access. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers the separate receiving-furniture check.
Common questions
Will an AT-AT case fit both 75313 and 75440?
Use the exact compatibility statement and scene drawing. The sampled products target different sets with substantially different arrangements.
Does an advertised fit allow every leg pose?
Confirm the maker's intended supported stance and foot locations. The set number does not specify every possible articulation.
Can I access the UCS interior while the case is closed?
Check the actual enclosure and working route. A removable model panel and an enclosing case are separate boundaries; the normal procedure may require opening the case first.
