Match a LEGO Aston Martin display case to the set number before comparing sizes. The two DB5 models, Speed Champions AMR24 and large Technic AMR25 need different products. Then define the car’s support, figure position and any gadget, halo or rear-wing state you want to show.
Aston Martin and DB5 names do not specify a size
Write the set number on the car record and the supplier enquiry. The larger 10262 DB5 has working James Bond features; 76911 is a different compact DB5. The AMR24 and AMR25 are F1 models with different construction and receiving requirements.
| Set | Official descriptive reference | Feature or contents to retain |
|---|---|---|
| 10262 DB5 | Over H10 × L34 × W12 cm. | Opening doors, bonnet and boot; ejector seat and other concealed gadgets. |
| 76911 DB5 | Over H5 × L17 × W7 cm. | Bond minifigure, wrench and four extra sets of number plates. |
| 77245 AMR24 | Over H4 × L20 × W7 cm. | Driver figure and a halo that lifts to open the cockpit. |
| 42240 AMR25 | Over H13 × L61 × W26 cm. | Technic 1:8 model; gearbox-linked DRS rear-wing feature. |
These are LEGO’s qualified model references, not complete outlines for every open panel, driver position or raised stand. In particular, the shared DB5 name does not transfer 10262’s working mechanisms to 76911, and a small F1 enclosure is not an alternative size for the much longer 42240.
Choose a display state before asking for operating space
For 10262, decide whether the body stays closed or presents a particular gadget. Its official description includes revolving number plates, a rear-window screen, tyre scythes and front guns as well as the ejector-seat feature. Each chosen state belongs in the complete outline; the basic car dimensions do not describe every mechanism in use.
For 76911, record where the figure, wrench and spare plates will remain. They can stay outside the displayed scene, but that should be a deliberate storage decision. A front information plaque is not automatically an accessory shelf for every retained part.
For 77245, distinguish a closed halo from a posed open cockpit. For 42240, LEGO describes the DRS wing raising when high gear is selected. Record the settled wing state and how you will reach the model after opening the case. A cavity that receives a raised wing does not establish access to change the gearbox while enclosed.
The cover photograph comes from CubeBuff’s authorized 10262 open-stand gallery. That product expressly excludes an enclosure. It illustrates the distinction between an open supported car and a covered display; it does not show a stand included with any case below or supply the outline of your chosen pose.
Compare only the dimensions attached to the exact set

| Exact product | Published size | Question before selection |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 10262 | External W40 × D25 × H23 cm. | Clear cavity, intended car state and actual supplied support. |
| Kingdom Brick Supply 76911 | Approximate inside L20 × W10.4 × H7.2 cm; outside L21.5 × W11.9 × H7.8 cm. | Whole compact car plus selected figure and accessories. |
| Elevenmark 10262 | L50 × W28 × H20 cm; inside/outside unlabelled. | Actual receiver and the supplied 007-logo stand’s supported outline. |
| iDisplayit 42240 XL case and stand | Inside L72 × W32 × H24 cm; outside L74 × W34 × H25 cm. | Complete car on the included angled stand, wing state and cover route. |
| KGBOX current 77245 listing | No numeric dimensions found in the product main read. | Current model identity, clear cavity and supplied components. |
The labelled 76911 interior and the 10262 external dimensions describe different models and boundaries. Comparing their heights as spare space obscures both differences. Keep the approximate qualifier with Kingdom Brick Supply’s figures; its separate 24 × 12-stud reference does not define figure locations or a gadget envelope.
Wicked Brick’s description uses angled-presentation wording without a numeric angle or contact map in the read main. Ask for the actual support and intended model position instead of adding an assumed stand height. For Elevenmark, the description explicitly says the 007-logo stand can be placed freely. That statement does not establish unrestricted car placement or room for every open gadget.
iDisplayit’s sampled 42240 product is specifically a case-and-stand bundle. Its linked lower case is a separate option, whose product details have not been evaluated here. Do not transfer the XL interior, supplied stand or angled pose to that other product. The Clear (Stackable) base label also supplies no general loaded stacking limit for all base choices.
The AMR24 listing’s current body conflicts with its URL
The sampled KGBOX address ends in 77246, while its current title and description identify 77245 AMR24 and its SKU is 77245-CLR-STD. Keep that discrepancy with the enquiry and ask the supplier to confirm the item and compatible set. Do not silently change the address or treat its suffix as a verified second compatibility.
The product main read does not provide a numerical cavity. Leave that field unresolved until the selected product has a labelled drawing or specification. Dimensions from the 76911 DB5 or another F1 case cannot complete it. Flat-pack hardware and instructions describe assembly, without necessarily identifying the routine opening method around a finished car.

Keep the viewing side, support and opening routine together
A DB5 side profile, an open bonnet and an F1 overhead view favor different sightlines. Choose the view at the real shelf height, then position any figure or plaque within the confirmed receiving arrangement. A printed rear can frame a preferred side but changes what can be seen from behind.
For an angled display, obtain the exact support, intended contacts and complete supported-car outline. An open stand shown in a photograph is not automatically compatible with another manufacturer’s base or enclosure. Do not combine a stand’s two-dimensional size line with a model reference to invent a loaded height or depth.
Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround from the base and returning it to grooves. Establish its route past the actual car state and a place for the removed section. For another construction, follow that product’s own opening instructions before operating a gadget, lifting the halo or changing the wing state.
Use the Aston Martin identity, support and feature-access worksheet to retain the exact set, current URL conflict and size boundaries. The LEGO shelf-case guide covers the separate furniture decision, and the measurement guide helps record the complete intended arrangement.
Common questions
Does one DB5 case fit both 10262 and 76911?
Confirm explicit compatibility for the actual set and configuration. The two models have different dimensions; the shared car name does not establish a common receiver.
Does an Aston Martin display stand include a clear case?
Check the exact product contents. The photographed CubeBuff item is expressly an open stand, while the sampled iDisplayit 42240 item is a named case-and-stand bundle.
Does an F1 case leave room to operate the halo or DRS?
Static fit and working access are separate requirements. Establish access before changing the feature unless the complete in-case operation is documented.
