Choose a Swarovski crystal display case for the complete supported figurines and the way you want to see them. An open crystal base, a shallow cabinet with repeated shelves and a custom pedestal enclosure provide different spaces. Establish the exact cabinet family and clear space above each shelf before treating an overall size as a fit decision.
Start with the supported figure, including projecting decoration
List the figurines you actually want on view. Keep documented names and collection information with each entry, while leaving uncertain identifications open. A matching color or character theme can help arrange the group, but it does not define the space occupied by wings, a long dress or another projecting detail.
Record each figure in its intended resting position, together with its existing base and any additional display base. Include the complete side profile and the footprint on the shelf. A small contact area beneath the figure does not measure its widest projection, and a separate crystal platform raises the whole arrangement.
The cover is a documentary Swarovski figurine photograph by Jiaqian AirplaneFan, taken in 2016 and licensed CC BY 3.0. The whole selected image composition is retained, resized and compressed. It illustrates a faceted profile; it does not identify a cabinet, establish a measured base or demonstrate a suitable support for another figure.
Decide whether you need a display surface or an enclosure
| Format | Useful presentation | Confirm before choosing |
|---|---|---|
| Open crystal base | One supported figure or a selected small group on a visible surface. | Actual support area and complete profile; a base supplies no surrounding cover. |
| Shallow enclosed cabinet | Front-facing figures on individual shelves. | Clear shelf depth, height, door opening and projecting decoration. |
| Sectional cabinet family | A collection arranged across separate cabinet sections. | Each section’s receiving dimensions, joining plan and installation requirements. |
| Custom pedestal or upright case | A scene or taller group with a defined main view. | The actual custom shelf/tier arrangement and finished access route. |
Swarovski’s Crystal Base, large, article 5105865 is an open clear crystal base. Its name does not describe a transparent case or a covered storage well. Include that base in the figure’s supported height if it is part of the intended arrangement.
The AMA UK family page describes enclosed glass cabinets opening at the front. Its Crystal Palace format consists of a central cabinet and separately added side sections. That growth path is different from assuming an existing cabinet has freely movable or removable shelves.
London Post’s display article suggests grouping figures and considering bases, backgrounds and shelves. Those composition ideas do not supply a particular shelf’s capacity, clear cavity or appropriate treatment for a delicate collectible. Settle the receiving specification before filling a visual gap with another object.
Keep the published tuple separate from usable shelf space
These descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. The figures below remain attributed supplier specifications. DisplayCasePro has not fitted the objects, measured delivered cabinets or tested lighting and protection claims.
| Named product | Published size | Boundary still to establish |
|---|---|---|
| Swarovski 5105865 | ½ × 5⅜ × 3⅜ in. | Tuple axes are unlabelled; an open base is not a case interior. |
| AMA Classic, item 375 | 33 × 22 × 7.5 cm. | Axes, inside/outside and clear space above each shelf. |
| AMA Classic, item 376 | 40.5 × 27 × 9 cm. | The individual shelf and door opening, beyond overall cabinet size. |
| AMA Classic, items 377-5 or 387-5 | 48 × 32 × 11 cm. | Selected finish, lighting package and actual receiving dimensions. |
The Classic product page says all its sizes have four shelves. Dividing an overall height by four would not establish the clear space above any one shelf. The top, bottom, shelf thicknesses, fittings and actual positions remain unresolved by that calculation.
Its dimension sequence also does not label an inside depth. Keep the original tuple with the enquiry and ask for a clear front-to-back measurement at the intended position. A larger-looking cabinet may still have a shallow receiving area behind its closed door.
Crystal, Classic and a historical custom case are different records
The UK page assigns variable shelf spacing and room for figures up to ten inches tall to the largest Crystal format. That statement should not be transferred to a four-shelf Classic cabinet. Both sampled sites present AMA cabinet families, so their related descriptions are not two independent measurements of the same cavity.
Lighting also needs its exact model attached. The UK overview makes a broad halogen statement, whereas the Classic page describes lighting for its largest size and mentions a UK-suitable adapter. Confirm the actual chosen package and destination rather than assigning that equipment to every size or assuming a US configuration.
Showfront’s 2020 collection examples include a tiered CBDL pedestal, a TSF 1000 and a customised TSB1500 with four LEDs and lower storage. They show different layout briefs. Their names do not supply current dimensions, confirm every catalogue option or establish the same equipment for another order.

Check the view through the door and the route back out
Choose a main viewing height for each shelf. Turn the paper profile toward the detail you want visible, then keep the complete supported outline with that orientation. A figure that is fully visible from above may be interrupted by a door rail when viewed from a chair.
Check each figure’s route through the actual opening, not only its settled space. Include the clear door sweep, the support you intend to lift and a waiting surface for the removed object. A rear row becomes less practical when reaching it requires passing through another figure’s projecting decoration.
Keep the cabinet’s cleaning routine separate from the contents. Swarovski’s cited product guidance distinguishes decorative objects from jewellery and warns against harsh materials and window cleaners. A product used on the cabinet glass therefore should not become an assumed treatment for the figures or their repairs.
Use the figurine, cabinet-family and shelf worksheet with the collection measurement guide. The lighting and reflections guide helps assess the finished view after the physical arrangement is resolved.
Common questions
Does a large crystal base include a cover?
The cited 5105865 product is an open base. A surrounding enclosure and its usable dimensions require a separate product specification.
Can the largest Classic cabinet receive a ten-inch figure?
The sampled ten-inch statement belongs to the largest Crystal format. Obtain the Classic model’s own shelf and opening dimensions for the complete supported figure.
