Rugby Ball Display Cases: Covers, Seats and Upright Options

Choose a rugby ball display case by deciding how the actual ball will sit and which face you want to see. A horizontal case, an upright enclosure with a raised seat and an open stand provide different spaces. Include the ball’s real support before comparing inside dimensions or choosing a personalized background.

Keep the rugby ball’s identity and signed face together

Record the actual ball, its documented size description and the panel or inscription that matters from the room. An oval souvenir, a full-size rugby ball and an American football should not inherit one cavity simply because a shop uses several sports names.

Choose a horizontal or upright presentation with an intended seat. Turning a box on its side does not turn its original support into an approved upright holder. Record the ball as it will actually rest, including the support’s footprint and the highest point above its starting surface.

For an autograph, check the view with the chosen support rather than rotating the ball merely to fill unused space. Keep provenance or match information as a separate record; the display does not establish who signed the ball or whether it was used in a particular game.

A rugby search includes both enclosures and uncovered supports

The following pages were read on 18 October 2026. Collection titles help identify formats, but they do not provide every listed product’s usable interior. One sampled stand collection was empty when checked.

What the five sampled rugby pages provide
SourceFormat or current contentsUse the information for
Better Display CasesSeven visible horizontal/vertical case cards, including clear, mirror, wall and turf versions.Exact case and configuration; the category also points to an open shelf.
BCW 1-AD06An open acrylic ball stand.Actual ball-plus-stand profile; no enclosing cover is supplied by a stand.
JackCube DesignA rugby-titled case with removable lid; copy also names other sports.Clarified rugby fit and an axis-labelled interior.
Puffin PlasticsFirst 24 of 41 mixed-sport case cards, including landscape and portrait rugby versions.Exact rugby product, base and personalization.
Rugby WarehouseStand-category title; current main showed 0 products. No current item dimensions can be taken from that empty collection.

Better Display Cases’ rugby collection distinguishes wall and non-wall versions. A mirror and a wall attachment are separate choices. Puffin’s mixed ball collection also contains football, cricket, tennis, golf and basketball products, so its total is not a count of interchangeable rugby enclosures.

Rugby Warehouse’s stand category supplied no current product list in the main read. Treat that as missing shopping information, not permission to assign another maker’s stand dimensions to it.

BDC A060/B42 vertical, outsideH12 × D8 × W8 in.The whole enclosure, not free height above the seat.
BDC A060/B42 vertical, insideH11.15 × D7.75 × W7.75 in.Height starts above the platform with its ball hole.
Puffin landscape rugby caseW333 × D220 × H220 mm.Inside/outside unlabelled; acrylic support included in the description.
JackCube rugby case12 × 8.7 × 7.4 in.Numeric axes and inside/outside unlabelled.
BCW 1-AD06 stand base5¼ × 4⅝ in.Two-dimensional base footprint; not stand height or a case cavity.

The exact BDC vertical clear product gives its inside height above the holed platform. Do not subtract that platform again. If you add a different ring or holder, the ball’s supported profile changes and must be compared from the stated surface.

BCW’s stand gives the base pair without a height or a loaded rating. Its 40 EACH/CASE entry concerns packaging, not a display for 40 balls. A general statement that it receives several sports does not measure your rugby ball in that support.

JackCube’s rugby listing gives a three-number sequence but uses American-football and soccer language elsewhere. Ask for the labelled interior drawing and intended rugby arrangement. Do not swap its axes or assume all those different balls fit because of the title.

A supplied acrylic support still belongs in the complete outline

Puffin’s landscape product describes 3 mm clear acrylic, a 6 mm acrylic base, an acrylic ball support and a size 5 rugby-ball application. Its W333 × D220 × H220 mm line does not label the receiving boundary. Request the cavity and support arrangement instead of calculating an interior from the sheet thicknesses.

Keep the exact selected seat with your front and side record. The ball may project above and beyond it, while a raised platform changes the useful starting surface. Neither the stand’s own width nor a nominal size 5 label establishes the final supported height.

Invented ball and support symbols. No actual ball size, seat contact, hole profile, tested load, wall fixing or measured case fit is shown.

Personalization changes the view, while access needs its own plan

Puffin lists optional name text, a back photograph, engraving, mirror treatment and a plaque. Choose the important signed face before adding a rear picture or caption. A personalized panel can change which side remains visible, and a plaque needs a deliberate position.

Confirm which part opens on the selected enclosure and where the removed part will wait. A removable lid on the JackCube description is not an opening specification for every landscape or wall case. For wall use, keep the exact installation and access instructions with the order.

Use the rugby ball, seat and dimension worksheet and the collection measurement guide. Record unresolved dimensions before choosing repeated cases for several balls. Published dust, UV and stability language is not a protection or support test performed by DisplayCasePro.

Common questions

Can I use the vertical case’s full 12-inch height for my ball?

The cited 12 inches is outside height. Its stated inside height is 11.15 inches above the holed platform; compare the actual ball from that same surface, with its intended support.

Does an open stand include a protective case?

The BCW product is an uncovered support. Select an enclosure separately and compare the complete ball-and-stand profile with its usable interior.
