LEGO Tranquil Garden Display Cases: 10315 Layout and Access

Compare five LEGO Tranquil Garden 10315 cases. Keep rearrangeable flora, base fittings, pavilion access, inside dimensions and complete case footprints distinct.

LEGO Tranquil Garden Display Cases: 10315 Layout and Access

Choose a LEGO Tranquil Garden display case for the 10315 layout you actually want to keep: pavilion, bridge, stream, plants, rocks and lanterns together. The model's rearrangeable flora adds a second question beyond static fit. Establish how the case locates the garden and opens for changes before treating its rectangular dimensions as working space.

Record one finished garden before choosing the enclosure

LEGO's 10315 description identifies a pavilion with a detailed tea-ceremony room, an arched bridge, stream, koi carp, lotus flowers, trees, rocks and stone lanterns. Slots in the model's base allow the flora to be rearranged. The feature description also identifies access to the pavilion's interior.

The descriptive model reference is over H21 × W32 × D20 cm. That is not a measurement of every changed planting arrangement. Finish the configuration you intend to enclose, then record its outermost foliage, pavilion and other retained details.

Keep a photograph and simple plan for each arrangement you regularly use. Moving a plant can change a sightline or the furthest projection even when the lower garden base stays in the same place. Compare the new scene with the recorded receiving space before replacing the cover.

Separate the garden's display and access tasks
TaskRecordCase question
Settled landscapeThe complete pavilion, bridge, stream and final flora arrangement.Which scene and locating positions does the maker's specification cover?
Rearranging floraThe plants being moved and each intended final position.Does changing them require opening the cover or releasing the garden from its base?
Pavilion interiorThe model-access operation described in the actual set instructions. What must be opened or removed from the enclosure first?
Different viewing sideThe landscape orientation and the details you want visible. Will the case's locator, plaque or printed rear suit that orientation?

Keep the set identity specific. Bonsai Tree 10281, The Botanical Garden 21353 and Tranquil Garden 10315 have different lower supports and access features. A Japanese scene or Botanicals category name does not make their enclosures interchangeable.

Model planting slots, case locators and cover seats are different interfaces

The slots described by LEGO belong to the garden model and allow its flora to move. They do not describe the display case. Likewise, slots that seat a clear surround on a case base do not establish where a tree can be replanted.

Wicked Brick's 10315 introduction describes four cut-outs receiving the set's feet, while its detailed feature list describes embedded studs holding the set. Keep that difference visible in the enquiry. Ask for the current locating arrangement and an intended-layout drawing rather than silently replace one description with the other.

Those words also do not show how the garden is released for handling. A locator may establish one resting position without allowing the entire landscape to rotate while attached. Obtain the selected product's instructions before deciding that a new view or planting change can happen inside the closed enclosure.

Compare five suppliers using matching dimension definitions

The following descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. Sizes remain attributed to their own axes and boundaries. They are not our measurements, fit tests or a ranking of the products.

Five Tranquil Garden 10315 case descriptions
Specific casePublished sizeDefinition or unresolved detail
Wicked Brick 10315, LDS540.1.7W43 × D32 × H25.3 cm.The line does not label inside/outside. Four cut-outs and embedded studs appear in different description sections; clarify the current interface.
Brickcessories 10315Assembled 400 × 240 × 240 mm.Axes and inside/outside are unlabelled. Gloss black base and clear, black or printed rear choices.
iDisplayit 10315Internal L43 × W26 × H24 cm; external L45 × W28 × H25 cm.Completed clear surround sits in base slots. A separate 53 × 32-stud area is described.
Flying Box 10315Case L17 × W12 × H9 in; base 17.5 × 12.5 in.The case line is not labelled inside/outside. Include the larger base in the furniture check.
Kingdom Brick Supply 10315Approximate internal L42.4 × W29.6 × H23.2 cm; external L43.9 × W31.1 × H24.1 cm.Separate 52 × 36-stud area and ten screws. Confirm the complete intended scene and actual opening routine.

iDisplayit's internal L43 × W26 cm plan differs from Kingdom Brick Supply's approximate L42.4 × W29.6 cm plan. Preserve both axes rather than describe one as simply larger. The relevant comparison is the same completed garden orientation against a clearly defined usable cavity.

The two suppliers' 53 × 32 and 52 × 36-stud statements are also separate references. Neither describes the full spread of a tree above the floor or guarantees space to lift it. Keep those figures attached to their sources instead of combining them into one nominal garden base.

Do not turn a published interior height into a universal allowance for rearranging. The official model is described as over 21 cm high, and your actual plant state still needs checking. Hands, lifted components and the cover's route create an access task beyond enclosing the resting scene.

Choose the landscape view without changing its physical footprint

Identify the bridge, stream and pavilion details you most want to see from the normal viewing position. Place the scene on the plan with that front marked. A plant beside the pavilion can affect the view even when it stays within the measured rectangle.

Wicked Brick describes a tea-house-inspired printed background and an information plaque in front of the set. Brickcessories offers clear, black or printed rear choices. Ask where the actual plaque and locating points sit before deciding that you can reverse the garden or turn it toward a different side.

A printed scene supplies a visual background, not another physical garden section or more receiving depth. Keep the rear option separate from fit and access. UV printing also describes a printing process here; it is not evidence of a tested UV-filtering specification.

Model planting positions, case locating details and cover seating are different records. Invented shapes do not show the actual 10315 interface, an approved replanting path or a tested case layout.

Plan changes as an opening sequence

Start with the enclosure's documented routine. Wicked Brick describes lifting its clear cover from the base. iDisplayit describes assembling the clear surround and positioning it in slots on the base. For another product, obtain its own instructions rather than assign it either opening method.

Then plan the model operation: moving the chosen flora or accessing the tea room according to the set instructions. Keep a resting place for the surround and any removed parts. Opening the case does not by itself establish that the garden can be lifted by a plant, pavilion or projecting detail.

Check the whole outside footprint and opening route at the receiving furniture. Flying Box's 17.5 × 12.5-inch base is larger than its upper case line. iDisplayit's exterior is L45 × W28 cm. A clear inside floor does not identify the entire surface the completed enclosure occupies.

Use the Tranquil Garden layout worksheet to keep flora positions, locating questions, views and access together. The collection measurement guide covers the general outline method; the extra task here is preserving a defined rearrangeable landscape and the interfaces that receive it.

Common questions

Does a set-specific case fit every garden arrangement?

Ask which actual layout the maker covers, then check your completed outline. Model-base slots do not define every resulting foliage projection.

Are Wicked Brick's four cut-outs and studs the same feature?

The read description uses both terms in different sections. Request the current base specification rather than resolve that difference from an image.

Can the garden be changed while the case stays closed?

No working route is established by the quoted static dimensions. Confirm the opening sequence for the exact enclosure and model operation.
