Start a LEGO Spider-Man display-case search by identifying what you own: the 71050 Spider-Verse minifigure collection, the projecting 31209 artwork, a mask, a bust or a larger scene. The sampled pages mix these formats. A twelve-position figure case and a wall enclosure for relief art answer different receiving questions.
The actual source pages point to two main formats
LEGO’s 71050 description identifies twelve characters to collect, with one surprise minifigure in each mystery box and at least one accessory. A display case for twelve figures does not include twelve sealed mystery boxes or establish that every custom accessory arrangement fits.
The official 31209 artwork is layered relief with a head and fingers that can be repositioned. Its reference is over H54 × W41 cm, with no numeric depth in the cited specification. The projecting pose belongs in the receiving enquiry.
| Source | Observed format | Select or confirm |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick | 71050 shelf or wall case with dedicated shelves, studs, cut-outs and magnetic removable front. | Complete character accessories and intended positions. |
| BrickShell Cases | Twelve-count studded podium, pressure-fit panels and directly printed backdrop. | Exact positions and routine access method. |
| Flying Box | 31209 wall-mounted artwork case. | Complete relief pose and both attachment interfaces. |
| Dia Display Studio | Tall newspaper-style 71050 frame/case with A, B and customized choices. | Selected version, usable depth and conflicting lighting wording. |
| iDisplayit Marvel collection | Minifigure displays, artwork, masks, busts, buildings and a separately listed open stand. | Exact product; catalogue filters are not one case’s dimensions. |
These source pages were read on 19 October 2026. This is a format and published-specification comparison, not a DisplayCasePro physical fitting, UV, dust, lighting or wall-load test. The broader Marvel collection is not evidence that one receiver suits every Spider-Man build.
Keep figure-case dimensions apart from artwork-case dimensions
| Receiver | Published dimensions | Receiving boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Wicked Brick 71050 | W34 × D7.7 × H18.1 cm. | Inside/outside unlabelled. |
| BrickShell twelve-count podium | H6⅞ × W11½ × D4½ inches. | Inside/outside unlabelled; retain axis labels. |
| Dia 71050 overview | W24 × H33 × D4.5 cm. | Explicitly overall; not a confirmed cavity for every A/B/custom option. |
| Flying Box 31209 | L17.5 × W4.25 × H22.5 inches. | Inside/outside unlabelled. |
| iDisplayit 31209 | Inside L48 × W10 × H60 cm; outside L51 × W11 × H63 cm. | Separate labelled rows for receiving space and wall footprint. |
Do not interpret Dia’s overall 4.5 cm depth as clear room in front of every figure. The background, receiving supports and front construction still need their own definition. The iDisplayit artwork’s labelled 10 cm inside W similarly needs to be matched to the complete relief and its actual support arrangement.
BrickShell lists 3/16-inch acrylic as 5 mm and describes snap-fit or pressure-fit construction. Flying Box lists 1/8-inch clear and 1/4-inch black sheets. Those material records cannot manufacture a missing cavity from the published outside or unclassified size.
Twelve positions still need an accessory plan

LEGO identifies accessories such as Hobie Brown’s guitar and Miles Morales’ spider. Keep the actual figure, accessory and retained support together when asking about the case positions. A twelve-count layout does not specify clearance for every raised guitar, outstretched arm or additional companion.
Check the view of the complete group before assigning each character a position. A directly printed backdrop is fixed artwork, rather than an adjustable compartment. A front panel should not compress an accessory or become the support for a figure that will not otherwise remain in its intended pose.
31209 needs room for the relief and two separate connections
Record the artwork’s chosen head and finger positions, original frame and complete rear-to-front profile. Width and height alone describe neither its depth nor the outside projection of the finished wall case.
Ask how the artwork is retained within the enclosure, then how the complete enclosure attaches to the actual wall. Those are different connections. A product title saying wall-mounted or a photograph above furniture does not identify suitable fixings or establish a loaded rating for your wall.
Confirm which front component opens and reserve its route beside neighbouring frames. A case intended to receive a static pose does not establish room to reposition the fingers under its closed front. Keep the model’s instructions with that operation.
Dia’s lighting descriptions conflict
Dia’s main note and FAQ state that display cases are non-lighted. The same read page also contains general wording about an LED USB version with white light. Ask which statement applies to the exact selected 71050 option and what is supplied. Do not infer a lighting kit, connector or power arrangement from the general paragraph.
Similarly, UV-printed artwork describes a printing process; it is not evidence of UV filtering by the whole case. Neither an illuminated-looking background nor a bright product photograph establishes an electrical component.
Confirm the exact front, supports and supplied contents
Wicked Brick describes a magnetic removable front and dedicated figure supports. BrickShell’s pressure-fit panel construction describes another system; confirm how it is intended to open for changing a figure. Do not transfer one maker’s opening or mounting method to another.
For the tall Dia layout, keep the A/B/custom choice and its actual receiving drawing together. Follow product-specific assembly instructions instead of treating generic screw wording as permission to drill a model, panel or wall in an assumed position.
Use the Spider-Man format and receiver worksheet to record the correct object, layout, front and unresolved lighting. The collection measurement guide covers consistent complete outlines.
