LEGO Simba Display Cases: 43247 Head Poses and Base Space

Compare 43247 Simba cases by head pose, labelled interior and complete base. Keep four size records, one missing specification and cover access clear.

LEGO Simba Display Cases: 43247 Head Poses and Base Space

Choose a LEGO Simba display case for the completed Young Simba 43247 and the head direction you want to show. Keep the whole body and base footprint in the plan, even when the face is the focal point. The sampled cases use different dimensions, and one listing supplies no numeric receiving specification in the text inspected.

The official 43247 reference describes a movable head

The official Young Simba description identifies a buildable sculpture with a movable head and a display height of over 29 cm. It does not give a complete width and depth for every head-facing direction. Keep that limit with the reference rather than assigning dimensions from another brick-built animal.

Check 43247 on the model record and the intended case. A smaller Simba companion, a custom rebuild and a retained retail package create different receiving questions. This guide concerns the completed 43247 sculpture in its chosen permitted pose.

Record the actual front and side outlines, including ears, muzzle and the rest of the model. The widest point seen from the front may differ when the head faces sideways. Follow the model instructions; a clear panel should not force the head into a position selected only to make the case close.

Four numeric listings and one specification gap

These original descriptions were checked on 19 October 2026. Dimensions retain their stated axes and inside/outside boundaries. No physical case, head movement, UV performance, dust exclusion or loaded stacking was tested by DisplayCasePro.

Five 43247 case records and the missing definitions
SourcePublished sizeClarify for your model
Wicked BrickW25 × D35 × H31.7 cm; inside/outside unlabelled.Clear interior above the finished base and selected head pose.
iDisplayitInside L32 × W21 × H36 cm; outside L34 × W23 × H37 cm.Actual model orientation, base choice and opening.
Flying BoxCase L13 × W7.5 × H12.5 inches; boundary unlabelled. Base 13.5 × 8 inches.Clear cavity and the whole larger footprint.
Brick In ItW33 × D33 × H33 cm; inside/outside unlabelled.Usable space, chosen rear and routine access panel.
iCuanutyNo product-specific numeric case size established from the read text and opened size control.Current axis-labelled interior and complete exterior drawing.

A 31.7 cm unclassified case height minus LEGO’s over-29 cm reference does not produce a verified headroom allowance. The model reference is rounded, the receiving floor matters and the case boundary has not been identified. Ask for the clear height above the selected base.

Likewise, iDisplayit’s L32/W21 interior and Wicked Brick’s W25/D35 tuple use different labels and boundaries. Preserve those labels until the intended orientation is clear. Sorting the floor dimensions from longest to shortest would discard that information.

Keep the chosen face view and complete outline together

Three separate decisions for the Simba display
DecisionRecordConfirm separately
Head-facing directionActual ear and muzzle positions in the settled pose.Clearance from the side and front panels.

Original invented cub silhouettes facing in two directions with a separate complete outline and cover-access question
Original DisplayCasePro illustration with invented cub silhouettes and receiving boundaries. Not LEGO 43247 geometry, a joint range, required support, actual case dimensions or measured clearance. Each chosen head direction needs its own complete outline.

Choose the viewing direction before selecting a printed rear. A background can frame the sculpture from the front while limiting the view behind it. Brick In It offers a printed background or clear rear; iDisplayit lists black and white base choices. These are different configuration fields rather than a single interchangeable colour option.

Represent the whole case at the intended shelf height. Turning the face toward the viewer may improve the composition while moving a projection closer to a side panel. The settled appearance and the room needed to make that change are separate questions.

Use the complete base footprint for the furniture plan

Flying Box’s 13.5 × 8-inch base is larger than its 13 × 7.5-inch case floor sequence. Keep the full base in the shelf record, and obtain the usable cavity separately. Its 1/8-inch clear and 1/4-inch black sheet descriptions do not resolve the unlabelled case boundary.

Wicked Brick specifies 3 mm clear panels, a 5 mm matte-black base and a separate 3 mm etched plaque. Brick In It lists 3 mm Perspex panels, a 5 mm gloss-black base and metal corner cubes. Those construction details do not establish which parts locate the model or where a quoted internal height starts.

Include any supplied plaque in the intended layout without using spare-looking space as an assumed extra-model position. A case named for one Simba does not confirm a paired scene, and a product photograph does not mean the LEGO model is included.

Keep iCuanuty’s unconfirmed size unfilled

The iCuanuty page offers classic and background choices. Its product text and the Product Size and Product description controls inspected in a normal browser did not provide a numeric case specification. The general FAQ includes Formula 1 compatibility and broad stacking or wall-mounting advice; those passages are not a Simba receiving drawing.

Request the current dimensions and instructions for the exact 43247 variant. Do not borrow another animal case’s size, calculate a cavity from the photograph or interpret a generic safety statement as a rated loaded arrangement.

A settled head pose does not establish room to turn it

Wicked Brick describes lifting the clear surround from the base and returning it to grooves. Reserve that route past the complete sculpture and a place to rest the removed part. The closed height does not state the required cover-removal distance.

For the other products, confirm which enclosure part opens during normal access. A connector-cube or flat-pack assembly description is not a complete repeated-opening procedure. Decide whether instructed head changes happen after removing the surround, and retain the model’s own handling guidance.

Use the Simba pose and case worksheet to retain the selected configuration and missing information. The measurement guide covers consistent complete outlines before comparing a confirmed interior.
