LEGO BMW M 1000 RR Display Cases: 42130 Stands and Height

Choose a LEGO BMW M 1000 RR display case for set 42130 in its actual supported state. LEGO supplies a display stand and a racing stand, while some case makers use their own stems. Those arrangements have different outlines. Compare a defined interior with the whole bike, support, steering position and display plate, then check the exterior on your furniture.

The official model dimensions exclude the display stand

The LEGO 42130 product specification describes a 1:5 model over H27 × L45 × W17 cm and explicitly says those dimensions do not include the display stand. It also identifies two supplied stands. Do not use that model-only height to approve the complete display.

LEGO's 9 December 2021 release provides more specific reference states. These historical first-party figures help explain the distinction; they are not measurements of your delivered build or a new case-fit test.

Keep each height, length and width together. Combining the display stand's length with the racing stand's lower height creates a configuration the table does not describe. If your steering position, accessories or support differ, record the actual finished arrangement rather than treating the reference as a universal bounding box.

Choose the stand for the view and access you want. A frequently demonstrated model may need a different handling routine from a settled display. The enclosure must receive the chosen arrangement; it should not depend on leaving a required support out to meet a headline height.

Case-specific stems are a third support arrangement

The Wicked Brick 42130 description identifies a two-tier magnetic base and clear horizontal stems for the motorcycle. That is its own supported system. It is not documented equivalence to either of LEGO's stands.

Ask which support parts are supplied, how the intended model rests and what complete outline the case's fit information assumes. A case title containing 42130 does not settle whether your existing racing stand, display stand or another aftermarket support belongs in that arrangement.

Do not copy a customer review's magnet alteration or reverse a support merely to change the bike's direction. Decide which side should face the room, then obtain the maker's supported orientation and instructions for that product.

Compare interiors with interiors, and exteriors with the location

These product descriptions were read on 17 October 2026. They are published specifications with different boundaries, not physical tests or rankings. Missing receiving dimensions have not been calculated from acrylic thickness.

FantasMall's Q&A says the outside length and width are about 2 cm greater than the labelled inside size, and outside height about 1.3 cm greater. Keep the approximate qualifier. That statement is not a separately measured exterior, and the paired inch/centimetre lines should be clarified for a close furniture fit.

Kingdom Brick Supply's 60 × 24-stud statement and iDisplayit's 64 × 22-stud statement describe their stated base space. They do not replace the supported bike's full steering and accessory outline. A stud count is also not a stand-inclusion list.

Do not treat 33 cm outside as a margin above 32.6 cm supported

ICUANUTY's 33 cm external dimension and LEGO's historical 32.6 cm display-stand height do not prove a 0.4 cm usable allowance. They use different reference boundaries. The case's base, joints, opening and actual receiving height still need to be established.

That comparison also does not prove incompatibility: the selected support or its position might differ. Leave the decision unresolved until the maker identifies the intended setup and usable interior. Do not approve or reject a close fit by subtracting an external dimension from a supported-model reference.

The same caution applies to the unlabelled 33.3 cm Wicked Brick height. Its own stems can produce a different outline from LEGO's display stand. Ask about that assembly rather than importing the 32.6 cm figure into a different support system.

Keep steering, the plate and removal in one plan

Record the front assembly in its intended resting position and include the display plate in the layout. Check that the chosen side of the bike remains visible and that the plate does not occupy an area needed to lift or withdraw the supported model.

For occasional feature demonstrations, establish access before handling the steering, wheels, chain or gearbox. A stand that holds the bike on display is not automatically a fixture for operating every mechanism inside a closed cover.

FantasMall says its background versions have a non-removable painted background. Choose the bike's facing direction with that limitation in mind. A clear rear gives a different sightline, while a printed rear frames a particular view; neither option establishes extra receiving width.

Both Kingdom Brick Supply and iDisplayit say their cases are not designed to be relocated with the LEGO set inside. Keep that restriction with the selected product and plan the final location before filling it. A fitted stand does not make an enclosure a carrying container.
