A cricket ball display case can be a compact keepsake cube or a taller engraved award presentation. Choose which task matters before comparing dimensions. The ball’s intended ring, the exact base, the inscription and the opening all need to remain in the same product record.
Choose a keepsake ball or an award presentation
A ball kept for a personal memory needs an identifiable record and a useful view. A ball used as part of an award may also need a prominent recipient, event or placing. Those choices can change the base and plaque arrangement without changing the actual ball.
Record what the ball is known to represent before writing the caption. A signed souvenir, a personally retained match ball and a ball supplied for an award are different descriptions. Keep uncertain attribution marked as uncertain; a display case does not authenticate signatures or establish match use.
| Purpose | Include in the scene | Decision to settle |
|---|---|---|
| One signed keepsake | The important signed face and actual ball support. | Which face remains readable and where the ring contacts the ball. |
| Engraved award | Ball, supported height and the intended information panel. | Recipient text, plaque location and the full presentation footprint. |
| Several individual awards | A separate object-and-caption record for each ball. | Actual case quantity, repeated outside footprints and individual access. |
ALU DESIGN’s cricket presentation describes aluminum construction, carbon-fiber accents and customizable colors and engraving. That is a different visual brief from a small acrylic cube. Its taller size line should not be treated as more usable ball space until the receiving cavity is defined.
Compare the actual cavity, not only a similar-looking cube
The following supplier descriptions were read on 18 October 2026. They are published specifications, not measurements, installation trials or autograph-protection tests by this site. Unlabelled boundaries remain unresolved.
| Source | Published dimensions | Question to retain |
|---|---|---|
| Better Display Cases A057/B23 | Outside L4 × D4 × H4 in; inside L3.75 × D3.75 × H3.75 in. | Selected base may be wider; actual ball/ring profile and complete exterior. |
| ALU DESIGN cricket case | W5 × D5 × H8.5 in; inside/outside unlabelled. | Usable receiving space, plaque position and intended opening. |
| Louisiana Trophies small-ball range | Golf 2¾-inch cube; baseball 3⅛-inch cube; softball 4⅛-inch cube. Boundaries unlabelled. | No named cricket version among the listed choices. |
| AMT Marketing cricket case | W100 × D100 × H103 mm, with 3 mm walls and 6 mm base. | Size boundary unlabelled; complete inside and outside drawing. |
| Wrights GPX cricket case | W101 × D101 × H95 mm; 4 mm clear/black acrylic. | Size boundary unlabelled; support and usable opening. |
The Louisiana Trophies range includes mirrored, raised-base ball cases with a cutout and optional engraving. Its named golf, baseball and softball choices do not establish a cricket-ball fit. Do not relabel one of those products as a cricket case simply because the search result appeared for this phrase.
Likewise, the Wrights GPX description mentions several similarly sized ball types. Obtain the selected product’s usable interior and compare the actual supported ball. A 4 mm material description does not identify every joint, seat or receiving boundary.
Keep the ring and the exact base variant together
Better Display Cases A057/B23 expressly includes a clear ring. Its description distinguishes black or white bases that are slightly wider than the case from a turf floor that sits on the furniture with the surround around it. The turf and surround are described as unattached.
Keep the quoted outside cube and the wider-base statement together. The listing does not give the wider base’s complete footprint in the size line cited here. Ask for that footprint for the selected version rather than treating four inches as the complete width of every base option.
The supported height is another field. The ball sitting on a particular ring has a different receiving profile from a ball in a cutout. Do not add an assumed ring height to an unrelated ball diameter, or transfer a platform height from another sports case. Record the actual combined arrangement above the relevant receiving surface.

Give engraving its own space and evidence
Write the proposed caption before choosing a small base. Identify the recipient, event, date and description you can support, then ask which text and plaque arrangement the selected product accepts. A large information panel can change the view or occupy floor area beside the ball.
Keep the ball’s significant face toward the normal viewing position and the caption readable without leaning over the enclosure. If several signatures matter, decide whether the actual mirror option provides the view you want. A mirrored rear is a presentation choice, not a second access door.
AMT Marketing’s listing states a minimum order quantity of 25 at the time read. That concerns the number ordered, not twenty-five balls inside one case. Confirm current order terms and destination separately; a UK product description does not itself establish availability or delivery to every English-speaking market.
Resolve the opening and any wall attachment
A057/B23 links a separate 5 × 5-inch wall mount for purchase. The enclosure title does not make that accessory part of every order. Identify the exact case, base and wall-mount combination before planning its location, and follow the actual installation instructions.
Ask how the ball and ring are inserted, which part opens for routine access and where the removed part rests. The description of an unattached turf floor is not permission to lift the populated display as one joined assembly. Confirm the intended handling sequence for the selected configuration.
The cricket-ball case and engraving worksheet keeps identity, caption, ring, base variant, quantity and wall option separate. Use the collection measurement guide for the finished arrangement’s placement. UV-proof, durable or shatterproof marketing alone does not establish tested protection for a particular signed surface.

Common questions
Does a four-inch outside cube define the whole base?
Not for every cited A057/B23 option: the description says some bases are wider. Request the complete selected exterior.
Can a baseball case be assumed to fit a cricket ball?
Compare the actual ball, support and receiving space. A shared small-sports-ball category is not an exact compatibility specification.
